Yeah i go to dollar tree all the time just for little things i might need and the two closest to me are disorganized and all the stuff i beat up and the store is nasty so i went to one around a good neighborhood and gated community and they had so much more and much better products
So my dollar tree has its days but for the most part they run a very tight ship and keep it immaculate. And it is in a low income area because this is where I live. HOWEVER- the goodwill near me is absolutely pillaged. I never film there only donate
My girls used to tease me that I was the only Mom who could decorate a whole house very nicely from dollar tree, dollar general & yard sales! I've done very well over the years. I taught them well!

People underestimate the dollar tree, they think it’s like when we were kids. Now they have really good quality stuff and I love it so much. It’s a shame people pass it up, but I’m glad they do because MORE FOR US!

FYI y’all if your ever gonna get a glass bottle thing to put your olive oil in I wouldn’t. The olive oil is put in a dark bottle for a reason and that reason is because it’s not good if the olive oil is exposed to light :)
I went to my local dollar tree last week and found these real nice, and sturdy medium-sized glass jars with lids on them. They were a great find since I made body butters & mini soaps for my friends and wanted to gift them in something nice and reusable. I also found these (christmas) plastic buckets with lids on them 3/$1.25 that I could put cookies in.

Honestly it has less to do with location and more to do with laziness. I work at a dollar tree store on one of the poorer sides of town and we have a great team and work hard to keep our store clean and well stocked.
When I moved in here, we got a care package, because some people literally had nothing. This place came with a bed, a dresser, and a kitchen table with two chairs. My friend took me to Dollar General. My parents, my dad ended up getting me better cooking pots and pans. My favorite purchase of my own was a 12-inch skillet, I use it for everything.

I manage a DT and mine is in a well of part of town (we have one community within 2-3mes with multimillion dollar homes. My store was severely neglected for a long time and wasn’t even close to its potential. I took over (and yes I’m giving my team and I props) it’s starting to reflect the TLC we’ve been giving it! It’s a big one and we get some cute things!! 😊
I needed a coffee mug once, bought one from DT. It had lead in it. The 30pbm mark was obscured by a barcode sticker. Stay away from physical items in my opinion.

I have a collection of my Grandparents old Italian glass. Those colored decanters fit right in with them. I use them at holiday dinners & no one noticed. So instead of buying stuff at highend shops or antique stores, save yourself $ & buy them at TDT!!
We regularly carry all these items at the location I work at. And no, we're not for the rich! Our AC doesn't work and neither does the second stall in the women's bathroom and they haven't for years. 😂 But we still get commuters, from, I kid you not- up to 2 hours away, to visit our store. We're about the only one in our area who can keep a steady staff going...
Great stuff. We don’t have a dollar tree in our state. Some stores sell cheap made in China stuff but most just come n go...open for a few months only to close in about 6mos.

Just change out the top dispenser thing for one from like walmart, target or even a liquor store will sell them for cheap. The jar itself is fine it's just that dispenser.

Many of the products have chemicals that cause cancer and birth defects
I stopped getting kitchen and dinnerware from there a long time ago for this reason; if it’s cheap, it’s poorly made + hazardous.
