  • In the hallowed halls of Ostagar, amidst the whispers of ancient magics and the weight of impending doom, our hero's journey truly begins. Having forsaken the safety of the Circle of Magi, we now stand as newly-minted Grey Wardens, sworn to defend Ferelden from the relentless tide of darkspawn.
The welcome extended by King Cailan fills our hearts with both pride and trepidation. To be acknowledged by the highest echelons of power is a testament to our worth, yet the burden of expectation weighs heavily upon our shoulders. Duncan, our mentor and guide, offers words of encouragement, urging us to acquaint ourselves with the camp before embarking on the arduous trial that lies ahead.
But before we set foot upon the path of destiny, there are tasks to be completed, quests to fulfill that will shape the course of our journey. The plight of the Mabari Hounds, loyal companions of the Grey Wardens, tugs at our heartstrings. With compassion and resolve, we assist the caretaker in administering much-needed medicine, earning the trust and gratitude of both man and beast alike. Thus, the quest "The Mabari Hound" is completed, a small but significant victory in the face of impending darkness.
Yet even in the midst of camaraderie, there are shadows that linger, reminders of the harsh realities of our world. The encounter with the Hungry Deserter serves as a stark reminder of the consequences of desperation and betrayal. Locked within a cage, his spirit broken and his fate sealed, he beseeches us for one final act of kindness, one last meal to sate his hunger before the inevitable. With a heavy heart, we acquiesce, knowing that even in the darkest of hours, compassion must prevail. And thus, "The Hungry Deserter" finds solace in our mercy, his tale a poignant reminder of the fragility of human frailty.
And so, with our conscience clear and our resolve steeled, we turn our attention to the task at hand. Alistair, stalwart companion and fellow Grey Warden, beckons us forth to the Kocari Wilds, a realm shrouded in mystery and peril. Our mission is clear: gather the necessary components for the Grey Warden Ritual, a rite of passage that will bind us irrevocably to the fate of our world.
But the path to glory is fraught with danger, and the Wilds are no exception. From the moment we set foot upon its ancient soil, we are assailed by foes both natural and supernatural. Packs of ravenous wolves, driven mad by the taint of the Blight, harry our every step, their bloodlust matched only by the ferocity of the darkspawn that infest these cursed lands.
Hurlocks, genlocks, emissaries, rogues, alphas-all manner of twisted creatures of the Deep Roads converge upon us, their numbers seemingly endless, their hunger for destruction insatiable. Yet we stand firm, our blades and spells a testament to our determination, our courage unwavering in the face of overwhelming odds.
Through the mists and the shadows, we press ever onward, our eyes fixed upon the prize that awaits us-a tower, ancient and foreboding, its secrets hidden behind stone and sorcery. Within its walls lie the documents that Duncan seeks, the key to unlocking the mysteries of our destiny.
But as we stand on the precipice of greatness, we cannot help but wonder what trials and tribulations await us beyond the horizon. What secrets lie buried in the depths of the Wilds, and what price must we pay to uncover them? Only time will tell, as our journey through Dragon Age: Origins unfolds, a tale of heroism and sacrifice, of friendship forged in the crucible of war.
Join us on this epic adventure, as we delve deep into the heart of Thedas, where legends are born and destinies are forged in the fires of adversity. Dragon Age: Origins beckons, calling forth the hero within us all. Will you answer its call?

Yeah he is one of the stronger ones. There's a mod that allows you to equip him as a pet. So instead of taking a companion slot, he is a pet.
But its a bit broken, because then u have a party of 5, when the game was made for a party of 4
