yeaaahhhh, the basic Cure and Thunder spells are just unacceptable at this point, I'm not surprised you raged-quit 😂 Still, if you revisit the game, you'll know which spells are good now so you'll know what to teach to everyone. Also, seems like you were sitting on 50k gil at least so paying a visit to shops would have helped. Mythril Vest on Locke, Iron Helm on Cyan, etc. were not acceptable either for the final dungeon of the game (no surprise they were one-shot, you got those in the early game). Still, as I said in my previous post, the game was made with players who grind in mind (magic spells with x1 AP multiplier... 😵), kinda requires micromanagement of 12 characters for this final dungeon, and this boss in particular also destroyed me when I played the pixel remaster without grinding. So don't beat yourself too much over this!
