This is the best learning tool for an apprentice I've come across. Do you have videos on inductance, capacitance, impudence? My 2nd year has focused on AC theory.
Yes, unfortunately they're still in development and editing stages right now. Stay in touch because I'm hoping to eventually complete DC, AC, three phase AC, hydraulics, motors/generators, motor control, industrial wind power and more.
Major news in the Columbia River Gorge, check out the proposed John Day Pool Pumped Storage Project. Here's the link: breakingenergy.com/2014/12/26/pumped-storage-dream-tiny-washington-state-utility-makes-big-pitch/
I'm 100% for renewable electricity sources such as wind powered turbines, hydroelectric dams, etc. But when it comes to EVs I am not so sure. The technology sure is amazing, but modern day batteries are lithium based and lithium mining is extremely detrimental to the environment. I would go with the development of hydrogen fuel cells as the only by product is water. If in the future, battery technology changes to something more environment friendly, I'd be glad to accept it. And yes I am aware that hydrogen fuel cells are still in development to this date. But there's more to it than meets the eye. The real reason it hasn't been researched enough is because the government can't make a buck in taxes off of water.
I'm testing for an power plant apprentice, this completely got me thinking about power and the power cycle in a different way.
I love these talks! A lot of this is stuff I kind of already knew but it's being said in such a way to make it fresh
Would be cool to hear how Earth's rotation can be used to generate power, i.e. tidal power plants or other possible variations.
"there you go, entire quarter of motors and generators in 3 sentences" XD
Bro you’re unbelievable
That's what all my friends say when I tell them all my kayaking stories!
