Why would you use Vale, when you can use Odette, Kagura, Aurora, Cecilion, Lylia, Xavier, Kadita, Lou Yi, and many more other better, viable, and strong from early to late game mages. He was so good before his rework and now we’re left with a hero with a shell of his former self. Sure, they buff the damage of his ultimate, but it still hits like a water gun 🔫. They should have at least also reworked his passive to give him some extra magic power. I would trade the extra movement speed for consistent damage output.

Moonton still didn't know how to balance Yve. They need to increase her slow capabilities or ultimate range. If that is something that they can't grant her, they need to allow Yve using battle spell while in ultimate state. But Yve still a good pick tho. Specially with the item wishing lantern. Even Hylos and Kufra can't stand her damage.
actually she's pretty balanced tho she already have high damage from her 1st skill and her second skill is very reliable but i kind of agree with you on being able to use spell when in ult but in moontons eyes it would be to op
She needs a rework for her ult. It could be a field just like her current ult but every 0.5 seconds you get hit in it. Kinda like old Bane ult where she can move around while it is on the field

Zhuxin is not op, most of your opponents Just DON'T KNOW HOW ger skills work but if you already know her she's just a child's play, her Cc's are unreliable just pick a Rush down hero and she'll became useless.
Im a main cecillion player, and, I combat his slow early game growth by immediately roaming to gold lane or other lanes to kill enemies or help out. Then I can be op for the rest of the game.

@@hachimori_wtfonly a really crap kag would die to a Zhuxin, she has good kiting against Zhuxin's range and also her self purify removes all of Zhuxin's butterfly stacks so you can't even trigger the knockup effect on her... but some inexperienced Kaguras probably don't know this and wait for the knock up before using her skill Also, at least right now since Zhuxin hasn't been adjusted to not use mana when using skill on minions, a good Kagura has much better lane control since if Zhuxin uses mana to clear the minions, Kagura can play more aggressive to force a choice between clearing lane and getting poked or losing out on minions. As someone with 450 matches on Kagura I feel like she's a good counter for Zhuxin and also for other heroes like Zhask
I’m a mage main… And This is a good list. However I think for a hero to be considered OP is a hero that can Burst, Agility/Mobility, CC, AOE, Poke and Sustain basically everything needed in a single kit. And I think Kagura and Julian takes the spot. Zhask is strong in terms of DMG and Poking. However, his spawn can just be almost deleted in a single retribution. While Zhuxin has great poking ability and CC (which is very annoying), she lacks DMG and Mobility.
1. Zhuxin's weakness is CC itself, with CC cancels her channeling 2nd skill, and be sure to have longer range against her if you trade her in midlane. 2. Odette being good fits her concept of being balerina, being balerina is all about balance and in between, not too extreme, and her ult is a round shape which fits the idea of being well rounded, everything about her is balance and classic. 3. Novaria is a lane bully early game
Depending on the enemies line up. Lylia can be an excellent way to tank. Considerably from her ult. Making enemies waste all skills. I love doing tank lylia. If i see the enemy line up.
Im Valentina main and im kinda agree with her position in this tier list. She is good at chasing down or escaping. Her gameplay is fun but really depends on enemy pick. If u wanna master her - u should know almost every hero's ult and always adapt.
I'm using aurora. She can clear minions fast, good cc and clash potential and good passive skill that is like winter crown. Easy combo 2-3-1 with enemy have almost no time to react if you hit your skill 2.
Yve is so op bro. I hated her at first and I agreed how she’s the worst hero ever. But I played her more anyways and damn her poking abilities, short cooldown, and mobiltiy, and damage actually makes the enemy cry once you understand how to use her
As a Zhuxin main, I think the new rebalance of her ulti is fair. She's more of a poke/chip damage that relies heavily on her mana and struggles again rush down characters.
I agree with you somewhat about Xavier. If there is a cyber, Hayabusa, or any thug against him, it will be very difficult for Xavier to escape, but if you master playing with him well and understand the hero well, you will be a nightmare for the enemies, as it is very difficult for the enemies to return to regain health, and so does Xavier. A great way to escape if there is a warrior or even an archer against him, but he cannot escape from the thugs, as he hits the first and second skills on his way to escape, as he will be accelerated and the enemies who run after him will be stopped by the skill. You can avoid all enemies, as Xavier hits His skills from a long distance, especially the extreme skill that penetrates the entire map. Also, if I told you that combining Xavier at the end of the match is more powerful than any other magician, since if you take the correct equipment combination, you can kill a magician, archer, assassin, or warrior like Zilong and Sun. Using only the first and second skill, it's crazy, man, especially if you have Gojo Satoru's skin, you will kill enemies with just a look. 😂
Louyi could be a hard counter for Zhuxin but among mages I still believe in the crowd control/punish that Yve could give. War cry could make Yve very OP cuz she can maximize the 6 seconds additional damage plus the benefits of weapon master and additional penetration. I tried it. The damage is insane plus the slow and short trap.

Selena at C ? Just say you can't use her, she annihilates mm and enemy mages from early levels, just because a hero is difficult play doesn't mean its a low tier hero, i mid lane with selena in mythic almost every day with a WR of 74%
Cecillion is for me at top tier the reason is that cecillion can be very tank and the build can be absolutely versatile as example if u got aim everytime and enemies is doing it purposely ceceillion with timekeeper,bloodwind,athena/bruteforce beastplate and aegis can withstand all this assault and even deal good damage this hero is good at handling teamfight and pressure turret.if u under a lossing match this hero can turn the tide😊
When tier lists put Gord in low tiers I find it satisfying because I use him against all kinds of assassins without any fear and actually perform well. It's tough against very skilled assassin players no doubt but the shock and disbelief in enemies' eyes when they see they are getting destroyed by a 'useless non meta mage' is something i love 😂
Ok so the fact is that if you have to pick the best of them, according to me lunox is the best mage. Zhask is in second position, gord in third.Lunox is good for aggressive players, zhask is good for beginners and gord is best for defensive players. Have fun❤❤
I can agree with Julian and I am glad that I picked him from the special offer as new player. I literally carried entire team with ease with Julian as a new player. Very fun to play also.

Happy to see all my 3 fav mages in strong category!! Luo yi, lunox, and kagura 😻😻 but kinda disappointed seeing valir in avg category😿 I always prefer to build semi tank-mage for valir and never fully mage. I always reserve last two slots for def item.

I'm so happy to see that chang"e is finally seen as strong/valuable mage! I remember the times where everyone was very negative about chang"e. I played her since the moment she got released and is until this day very strong! I have a 90% winrate with her, and I've reached myhtical etc as a casual player :)
As a Yve main Yve is too powerful when you play 5 men and too big in team fights cuz your team knows how to start the team fight and keeps you safe when you using her ultimate but for solo I don’t comment to play her cuz your teammates will never care about u that’s why it’s rarely to see her in solo ranks
I think Yve is less picked because she's better suited as trio, though a really good player could play her solo and win. There's just better mages than her, she's one of the heroes that are really weak when nerfed but a god when buffed. Who knows she could just be underrated, but from the clip, i don't remember her being able to get stunned while ulting and enemies escaping the barrier!! How low had moonton brought her to.
as a fellow mage, i highly recommend people to stay a considerable distance from damage soaker when enemy team has a cc skill that can easily go through tank.
@@bartender_99 I main him, and whatever he said isn't true, if used correctly he's super good although I'll recommend decent combos with him for better performance but yes he's still very strong and underrated and if you want more proof you can check global performances.

Kagura is more like an Assassin. It would be so great if she had jungle creeps damage buff, because she is too slow in farming in the jungle. That would add more nuance to her character and move her out of the mage competition. Because frankly other than damage, a little bit of crowd control is not enough for a mage to be competitive in the professional scene. Which why I think she is not top pick or even regular in pro-scene. But a Jungler Kagura, we can all imagine I’ve been playing Kagura for a long time and she is absolutely fun
Am a nana main and nana is kind good the fact is I start win early matches buying mistery codex for the first team first and I will not really farm because her first skill takes a lot of damage and her 2 is the best🎉🎉
They do ban Zhuqin in mythic, but she's not a monster in the field. For those who said she's a good CC, you're correct. BUT it takes time for her to lift an enemy up. And yes, AN because she had to choose on who to lift. Against burst assasins (which is a meta right now), she's OK, i guess. Not too op, but doesn't flop either.
I buy basic boots first, then buy 1 mana necklace. This one necklace is enough to sustain me in early game. In late game after I get all my core items I like to switch pen boots to mana.
Using mid harith is no problem for mex, since I got used using miya. (The way I use miya is bully the enemy, play safe if there are 2 and after the enemies backed down, I clear my lane as fast as possible to do some damage to energy shields, go to other lanes to farm more!!)
yup, i felt kilig in my bones when my Kagura was placed in Strong. I mean, i felt like my kagura skills improved recently unlike the previous seasons where it's crazy to rank up with her in solo queue. Not only she has a purify, a flicker, a petrify, and tigreal's ult-- she also has retribution under her umbrella sometimes, and bruh, who needs a jungler if i can steal objectives? :p
I downloaded the game yesterday and didn't understand a thing in this video but i still watched it because it is cool and yea what i do understand is 99.9% of mage is strong.
Vale’s first skill did almost nothing nowadays. And so is his 2nd skill apart from knock back. His ult also isn’t that painful unlike his previous version. The revamped Vale still hurt me till today as his main.
As a Valir main, I can understand why he would be placed average in this meta. But I actually enjoy flipping off the meta and just keep picking him because... You actually learn a lot on how to play around assassins with his kit. 😂
The thing is in every rank are other banns and picks the most... It's usually mythic and above .. idk if people understand that. And tournaments is other thing... You can't put heroes overall ...it depends on the rank hahaha
Remember that Cecilion also got weaker because now Lightning Staff (my first language is not English, so the name may be wrong) doesn't scale with mana anymore, so it's an item that isn't the best for cecilion any more.
I think vexana passive is op cause like in brawl if the enemies have your passive and fanny started attacking them there is a chance you will get a maniac or an savage maybe
I'm a Yve main but I barely use her in rank because the team usually don't co-operate when I use Yve. She's pretty useless if the enemy has full hp and comes in use only if enemy team don't have much hp
Also Chang'e is good and annoying in SoloQ cause she can steal the enemy blue buff extremly fast with her ult, 4s and u can stay at a decent distance to keep safe, with a really low CD on her ult ^^ One time the poor jungler only got his 1rst blue and i stole ALL the others :P

Kadita can also be classified as op in this given that she has very good burst and is more mobile than kagura and julian. Same for Harley
zhuxin lacking mobility? you can easily kite, reposition, and escape with her ulti
Same for pharsa too. mobility, strong for highgroud defense/attack.

Selena at C ? Just say you can't use her, she annihilates mm and enemy mages from early levels, just because a hero is difficult play doesn't mean its a low tier hero, i mid lane with selena in mythic almost every day with a WR of 74%

Cecillion is for me at top tier the reason is that cecillion can be very tank and the build can be absolutely versatile as example if u got aim everytime and enemies is doing it purposely ceceillion with timekeeper,bloodwind,athena/bruteforce beastplate and aegis can withstand all this assault and even deal good damage this hero is good at handling teamfight and pressure turret.if u under a lossing match this hero can turn the tide😊
When tier lists put Gord in low tiers I find it satisfying because I use him against all kinds of assassins without any fear and actually perform well. It's tough against very skilled assassin players no doubt but the shock and disbelief in enemies' eyes when they see they are getting destroyed by a 'useless non meta mage' is something i love 😂

Ok so the fact is that if you have to pick the best of them, according to me lunox is the best mage. Zhask is in second position, gord in third.Lunox is good for aggressive players, zhask is good for beginners and gord is best for defensive players. Have fun❤❤

I always prefer to build semi tank-mage for valir and never fully mage. I always reserve last two slots for def item.

As a Yve main Yve is too powerful when you play 5 men and too big in team fights cuz your team knows how to start the team fight and keeps you safe when you using her ultimate but for solo I don’t comment to play her cuz your teammates will never care about u that’s why it’s rarely to see her in solo ranks

I think Yve is less picked because she's better suited as trio, though a really good player could play her solo and win. There's just better mages than her, she's one of the heroes that are really weak when nerfed but a god when buffed. Who knows she could just be underrated, but from the clip, i don't remember her being able to get stunned while ulting and enemies escaping the barrier!! How low had moonton brought her to.
as a fellow mage, i highly recommend people to stay a considerable distance from damage soaker when enemy team has a cc skill that can easily go through tank.

Kagura is more like an Assassin. It would be so great if she had jungle creeps damage buff, because she is too slow in farming in the jungle. That would add more nuance to her character and move her out of the mage competition. Because frankly other than damage, a little bit of crowd control is not enough for a mage to be competitive in the professional scene. Which why I think she is not top pick or even regular in pro-scene. But a Jungler Kagura, we can all imagine

They do ban Zhuqin in mythic, but she's not a monster in the field. For those who said she's a good CC, you're correct. BUT it takes time for her to lift an enemy up. And yes, AN because she had to choose on who to lift. Against burst assasins (which is a meta right now), she's OK, i guess. Not too op, but doesn't flop either.

I buy basic boots first, then buy 1 mana necklace. This one necklace is enough to sustain me in early game. In late game after I get all my core items I like to switch pen boots to mana.
Using mid harith is no problem for mex, since I got used using miya.
(The way I use miya is bully the enemy, play safe if there are 2 and after the enemies backed down, I clear my lane as fast as possible to do some damage to energy shields, go to other lanes to farm more!!)

yup, i felt kilig in my bones when my Kagura was placed in Strong. I mean, i felt like my kagura skills improved recently unlike the previous seasons where it's crazy to rank up with her in solo queue. Not only she has a purify, a flicker, a petrify, and tigreal's ult-- she also has retribution under her umbrella sometimes, and bruh, who needs a jungler if i can steal objectives? :p

Vale’s first skill did almost nothing nowadays. And so is his 2nd skill apart from knock back. His ult also isn’t that painful unlike his previous version. The revamped Vale still hurt me till today as his main.
As a Valir main, I can understand why he would be placed average in this meta. But I actually enjoy flipping off the meta and just keep picking him because... You actually learn a lot on how to play around assassins with his kit. 😂

I'm a Yve main but I barely use her in rank because the team usually don't co-operate when I use Yve. She's pretty useless if the enemy has full hp and comes in use only if enemy team don't have much hp
