I totally blown away with your content creation. If you offer man a fish, he can have food for a day, but if you teach him fishing, he can have food for his lifetime. And proudly say that you are teaching us fishing for our lifetime. Thank you so much for your channel Olof Storm.
I’m so glad I found your channel. This workflow seems like it will definitely help get the ideas out of my head before I lose all inspiration. Thank you, looking forward to more content from you!
I really admire your work, I've always wanted to dive in to 3d modeling and art work but didn't go all the way, looking at your work makes me fall in love with this art all over again. Keep up the great work.
You are one of the few that can effectively show their 2D/3D animation style. Great work. I wish you were able to incorporate TB Harmony 2D/3D in your vids.
Awesome to see that you use the 3D as a starting point and to basically move the train. But then you draw again and bring everything to life with details. Love it.
With this style it could really be a modern version of a Studio Ghibli animation. The only thing to be done to this scene to make it more real (more Ghibli like) is if the traveler would run energetically into the train while the conductor happily waves at her while she does.
I've watched this in 2021, I love your process, Needs patience though but thats something not to worry about, The fact that i have knowledge about all these software that your using, never thought i could actually use 3d to create my 2d scene, "Not like how you create yours" its amazing and it has opened my mind wider... I should create something too
WOW man!!! this is great! I'm searching for techniques for my graduation project and as I started thinking of combining 2d with 3d, I came across your video, and honestly, I think I'm going for that cause I love the result so so much! I hope I can produce something like this! thank you for your amazing inspiring work!
THIS IS AWESOME!!! I cannot thank you enough for showing your process and the end result is absolutely fantastic. I have always wanted to learn the whole animation pipeline and this video shows it from scratch to finish. So glad to have found your channel.
Bootiful It might have helped if you did a morph cut between the different frames of the head-turn. It's a bit odd having low fps animation in the same frame as the high fps animation of the train
Love your attention to world detail. those 3 leafs flying, shadow on the train. Thought I would add a little bit of distortion to the cell shading on the train. and ad like couple of % of some waterpaint overlay on top of it so it would look more like hand drawn rather that 3D model. Still just me. work looks amazing.
Love it. Has such a beautiful ambience. Would have been lovely to see the lighting change on the driver too with the sunlight suddenly illuminating his cabin and face.
excellent video and very good methodology, finding your channel has been wonderful, from the best 2D and 3D animation channels, I am learning a lot with your videos, thank you very much
I don't know how I ended up here but I'm glad TH-cam led me here. I'll have to binge watch your channel. Very cool stuff. I love how u seamlessly merged 3d and 2d and made it into something magical
I believe that you just showed me something I love to learn to do it's amazing you just created a world of nothing I don't know what to say but I just love it very much perfect job man I am very inspired thank you sir
This is outstanding! Could you also do some step by step tutorials? you were always thinking about making step by step tutorials or it was you exploring subjects and sharing insights. But clearly This Rocks!!! would be glad if you could make step by step tutorials too.
@@maddiehad I've seen some promos and features or whatever. Regardless, I thought the movie looked amazing. Even if it's been done 1000 times for some reason it's not done often in feature films and it fit this movie perfectly. This style was new to me as apparently it was to many people. Everything in film is chosen for your particular project be it type of film, framerate, coloring, etc. I appreciate the choices made if they fit the project and don't hate on a project when it gets praise for being well done just because someone else has used a similar style before.
please continue sharing this technics that is very useful .... i advice you to use Live 2d Cubism in the modeling process of your character to give it a bit of realistic and decrease the difference between the 3D backround and the 2D character
I'm glad blender 2.8 now has a 2d option because in blender there's no need for any side programs and you can do it all in the viewport... this turned out really great though and it looks amazing.
I just loved how you blend 2D and 3D and it just look amazing.
Agree
I have made a you tube video. Would you like to see it?
Is he using greasepaint for the 2d?
