I dug out the VHS tape, checked the inlay sheet which has broadcast dates for everything on that tape and You are 100% correct, the UK broadcast date was 30th July. Thanks for spotting that. I have corrected the information box below the video
Ah big John Duncan Nirvana’s new guitarist. I think this might have been the only show he played with them. I was unaware that Cobain had been accused of ‘hating all English people’. I can see why he disliked the British press, much of it is an absolute cess-pit and certainly these days encourages the low intelligence necessary to be capable of rascism and nationalism.

That English comment in his book really irked me as a teenager, thinking he thought of us like that. As I’ve got older I’ve realised it’s more to do with some of the English press. But let’s be honest; the British press and fans made him to an extent. Maybe that’s what he didn’t like in the end?! But, he is right about the British press as a whole, they love to build you up to knock you down, and cast judgement. Luckily the press as we know it, is dying out. Shame we just have idiots and influencers now though
