    These are gorgeous. The only issue I have with the resin coasters is that I'm a big ice water drinker, and when the glass sweats, water will puddle up on the coaster, but for hot drinks, they'd be great. 😊

    Absolutely love this one! I’m steadily working my way through as many of your videos as I can: a) because I really enjoy them and b) because I want to support you as much as possible so you can keep going! (Not that I’m under any illusion that my viewing is making you a fortune 😂😂 or essential for you surviving lol!!) Truly think these are the best beach coasters I’ve seen done. Much prefer the stones to sand! 😊😍

    I have really enjoyed watching your videos since I discovered your channel recently. I haven’t created anything since Christmas, but you have inspired me to get back in my art room. I made a variation of these coasters a couple years back using just one color. Yours are just beautiful, so it’s time to do mine again. Thanks for all the hard work you put into your channel. I wish you much success.

    Thank you Michelle, they are stunning. I have some really tiny pieces of blue shell, picked up on Beach in the Cape SA, did not know what to do with them. And you have given me an idea, I do love all your tutorials. No flirting about, you just get on with the job. ❤

    Going backwards through some of your videos. 😊 What a beautiful idea to use paua shells in place of sand! GORGEOUS! 💕👍
    Perhaps there could be a bit lower music volume? Your videos are interesting enough, you needn't have music unless you just prefer it?

      Thank you! I will look for a volume control but its unfortunatly stock music.

    Where did you get the mold from please

    Please, what resin brand/type are you using? The resin I used was so thick it would not pour out of the cups easily.

      I use Let’s Resin brand for everything. Never had an issue with it. If you decide to try it use my discount codes in the description ones of my current videos.

    Can you just used Mika powder to colouring a resin or do you have to get the liquid stuff?

    • @glitznglitterbymichelle1
      @glitznglitterbymichelle1  ปีที่แล้ว

      For this particular look (transparent) you would need alcohol ink or resin dye. Mica powder wouldn’t be transparent to see the shells through it. A tiny bit of acrylic paint might work too.

    So cool! But i have a question please: When you put the shells directly on the mold, does the resin naturally seep underneath so that there is a layer of resin that covers the shells ( the bottom of the coaster)? I have always thought you need to lay a layer of clear resin before you put any object into the mold. Thanks for your great videos and detailed explanations!

      Any time I put them in first I will mix them so they get coated inside the mold carefully not to scratch the mold, there is an upcoming video showing that with some small gold rocks.
