    This guy's a badass no one not 1 other person has the authentic live intro to burning room on youtube. Even tho there thumbnails claim they do. They only teach the main riff. Or there own crappy attempt. All the other channels get the first guitar novices that's why they have way more views than him this man doesn't settle for scraping buy doing the bare minimum to make a buck. Respect!!

    I love how he says at 4:18 “if you don’t know the C sharp minor pentatonic scale”. If you don’t know the pentatonic scale good luck EVER trying to play this lol. I’m fairly advanced and this is tough.

    Love these videos but noticed you miss some notes. When you play it, you play it slightly different than what you teach. Specifically in the 2nd video in this series. But to be clear I'm very grateful and thank you for these. So very detailed.

      Thank you for letting me know (and the others), I wasn't aware of that! When I have time I will have a closer look. It is tough sometimes because I am always running from one thing to another and I usually have 1-2hrs for setting up everything, teaching, and putting it all away. For these tutorials that is not a lot of time and usually I have other videos to record in that same time frame. In any case my apologies for the inconsistencies!

      I just plugged into a Roland CUBE 30, added a bit of reverb and I think played over the neck pickup. That's it

    Not that accurate at all but a nice version nonetheless.
    There's vibrato and notes in this version that are definitely not being played by John @ Live in LA

      @@Yourguitarworkshop The dynamics are way off in the beginning and the part with the double stops at the 12th fret doesn’t quite sound the same to me. Can't seem to figure out though which notes he is playing though. To me the version of Nikola Gugoski sound more accurate, referring to the section at the 12th fret. But your video did really help me while learning the song by watching it and listening a lot to the original video of John playing. So therefore i do want to thank you :) !

    Sorry man, got to say, in my opinion you went too fast and didn't really show parts properly. The third part really went over my head because you just rushed through it.

      Thanks for the feedback. Sorry I rushed it. Usually I get people saying I am too slow so maybe I adjusted too much. Will keep that in mind. You can always playback the video at a slower tempo

      I see, the G#? Funny, I never realized that it was a single C# note instead of the double stop, it is also quite obvious so I wonder what led me to make that mistake, thanks for pointing it out :-)

      @@Yourguitarworkshop Sorry I didn't mean to be so brash, I made that comment before my morning coffee lol :P You're definitely a better player than me and I know you're putting these lessons out there for free and helping lots of people and that's admirable. But yeah, I know it's really hard to hear but the very beginning sounds more to me like a slide from 9&8 on D&G to 11&9 sounds like there is a bit of a ghost note in there too. The video on here by Jamie Harrison sounds to me to be more accurate watch?v=hoFKNEBWy1k but even he seems to be missing a little ghost note right at the beginning. Again sorry for the brashness, it was meant kind of a backhanded joke, thanks for all you do :P
