Berner Oberland: Spiez to Thun

If you find yourself in the Berner Oberland, looking for something active to do, but are not a big hiker, I have a recommendation for you. There is a very scenic, mellow hike that goes all the way around Thun Lake or Thunersee, route number 26. It is in four sections. However, the section connecting the towns of Spiez and Thun is quite scenic and also allows the chance to stop in various spots for lunch and sight seeing. This hike is accessible about nine months out of the year and would only present problems with heavy snow or ice.
Distance:14km (can be broken out into sub-sections)
+/-340 meters
Time: 3-4 hours
