lightheart5 No shade to the original actress obviously. But she was more cute than creepy imo. Christina Ricci was able to capture the creepiness better also while being adorable.
Let's be honest, everyone: Even though the technical main focus of 'Addams Family Values' was on Uncle Fester and Debbie, this subplot with Wednesday and Pugsley at camp was what the fans cared about the most and were the most invested in!

Ironically the movies did work, just a little too well.

Tranquil Fury: Wednesday subscribes the same philosophy: when the counselors at the summer camp try to brainwash her into becoming a stereotypical happy camper and taking part to their pathetic pageant, Wednesday goes with it before returning to her typical stoic self in the middle of the pageant, delivers an awesome and scathing speech and then leads the unpopular children into burning down the place, only changing from her stone-faced expression for a smile before trying to burn Amanda at the stake. Then the campers and her roast the counselors alive to eat them, proving that the family credo from the previous movie really is not just pretty words.
