This is actually one of my favorite commercials ever. As a new parent, this speaks directly to me. Every choice we make, in some small way, shapes how our children see the world. Cut someone off at a traffic light, throw a cigarette out the car window, small acts of selfishness and being inconsiderate to others produce a child and later an adult who is selfish and inconsiderate.
Both this and 'Vase' are well shot, as expected of David Tsui. However, both scenarios are let down by a lack of insight. The Chinese are legendary for being pragmatic. The richer they are, the more they wear that badge of Pragmatism with pride. Principles are collateral damage in the process. Besides no Bank can stand up to a scrutiny of its principles no matter how gorgeous the camerwork is.

you need to save such sharp insight for roundtable discussions. this ad says what it needed to say. verisimilitude (lol) isn't an issue in this case.
