Just what I needed! Great video tutorial thank you! I just recently upgraded to a gas powered pressure washer from an electric pressure washer and was a little confused. Lol
Why does the choke stay off on start, and ON when running... this makes no sense to me at all can someone explain why? My pressure washer company posted the same thing on how to properly start but I always thought choke on to start, then off when running was right... but apparently that is false... please explain to me guys!
Hi Lolz, The choke should be in the “on” or “closed” position to start the engine and in the “off” or “open” position when the engine is running. Feel free to give us a call at 1-800-553-9053 if you have any other questions, Thanks!
@@radsterzz6620 When you’re turning off the engine, it does not matter which position the choke is in. To turn off the choke, move it to the open position.
Hi Mystify, yes, you must leave the choke in the run position once your engine has started. Let us know if you have any other questions or feel free to give us a call at 1-800-553-9053.
Hi MrPicky, Not all pressure washers are shipped with oil in them, it is recommended to check the oil for proper levels according to your manual before attempting to start the unit. Let us know if you have any further questions & feel free to give us a call at 1-800-553-9053.
why don't you say what is that turning tap black handle sits above on the water pressure pump - ie what is it for and what happens if you turn it the wrong way?
The black knob near the pump is the unloader and is used to adjust the pressure. Turning clockwise will increase the pressure, turning counterclockwise will decrease the pressure. Consult one of our authorized service centers if you’re unsure of the right pressure.
Can the engine be started if there is no water hose connected to it with pressure? Or do I actually need water hose connected and on to trigger a startup?
Hi Jose, You need to have the water on, but depending on the model and year you may not need to have the trigger squeezed. Let us know if you have any other questions or feel free to give us a call at 1-800-553-9053.

why did you masterminds take the alum frame and delete the slot for oil draining ? The older models has a slot by the drain plug on the Honda motor so i can drain my oil now the new models(i own both) are nothing but a huge mess Wake up people.!

I got a new machine and can't seem to start the machine unless the choke is open (right position). I wonder if it will resolve if I use it more - do you think it is a problem anyone?
Why does the instructions say the fuel lever needs to be to the left? I've been trying to start it on the right side but it doesn't attempt to turn over now.
Hi Gibster, the fuel lever needs to be to the right or on position. Make sure to squeeze the trigger gun to relieve pressure when starting it. Let us know if you have any other questions or feel free to give us a call at 1-800-553-9053.
Hi Leyla V, There are 3 levers, for fuel, choke and throttle. When starting a pressure washer, you’ll want to have the fuel valve open, choke closed (on) and throttle to full. Once it’s running, the choke should be moved to open (off). Let us know if you have any other questions or feel free to give us a call at 1-800-553-9053.

Best how to video on pressure washer. I have watched so many video before I find this. 👍
Thanks MP!
Thank you . I watched so many videos and this one finally showed me what I needed to see. ❤
I think the best takeaway here is the "squeeze the trigger" while starting. I just found out the hard way lol.
They need to redesign this thing to have one button to start and one button to stop. So many damn levers and sequence to start.
My thoughts exactly!
They make this to be easy to fix. Not complicated at all
Then buy an electrical one
Excellent tutorial, thank you very much.
Great video
Thanks, great vid.

Hi I have the Mi-T-M 3200 PSI 212CC pressure washer. My choke says “Run” on it. Do I have to leave it on “run” when the engine is on?

Is the pressure washer “gun” legal in California?
Seems like it has a high capacity for pressure.

I bought the new chore master....does it already have oil in it?
Yes it should. We recommend checking the oil level before each use.

Please make sure to shut off the unit and let it set until it's cooled down, then remove the fuel cap to check the fuel level.
