What a beautiful reaction! I agree 100% with you cause I’ve following her music career since almost the beginning and I love her music so much! You should react to her cover of The Power of Love by Frankie Goes To Hollywood that she did for a John Lewis Christmas ad that made her known back in 2012. She also has a cover of That’s All by Genesis, Dreams and Go Your Own Way by Fleetwood Mac. These all are covers when she was young so her voice was different and she has improved a lot vocally speaking, she is a great artist! The way she writes is really clever. She started as folk indie acoustic type of genre and then she went kinda rock and now has gone a little more pop in her most recent album but she has always has kept her acoustic sound when she stripped back her songs. You should listen to Light Up The Dark (her most rock-ish album!). Anyway, hope you enjoy those songs too! Also, Aurora is an amazing artist too! I went to see her once and she was amazing!!!
I just loved this song. Wonderful lyrics sung with so much emotion. The Power of Love sounds interesting to say the least. I'm familiar with Frankie's version. Would love to hear her take on it. The next Gabrielle Aplin song I do will be that one. Thanks!
Absolutely love Gabrielle Aplin. Fun fact: She set up a record company at 15.
aww thank you for reacting to Gab! it really nice you did listen to this genre and appreciate the music
One of my favorite songs, it reminds me of a good friend of mine
I agree. I don't listen to this genre often, but when I do.... ;)
Lovely.
Glad you enjoyed it!
