Then Pyra has absurdly good kill power while ZSS has Bair, Upsmash and UpB exclusively pretty much unless you start getting into her more conditional setups. Pyra Mythra are somewhere top 3 while ZSS is arguably barely in top 10/around top 20. Only thing ZSS has better is a good toolset for disadvantage state, but even then foresight and switching between the two Aegis allow for a good set of mixup potential in that state anyways

imo it's weird seeing marss utilizing b reverses with snakes to drift away from danger but he completely forgets to use them with zss in panic situations. i know zss is more agile and have more options but there are quite good uses for b reverse for zss, her air mobility is fairly good. b reverse paralyzer is not so unsafe to use as a last resort when trying to land against a character like ness
So does Marth's moves, but inconsistencies can make or break winning a game. In Marth's case, it makes him worse than lucina despite having better kill potential.
I think marss needs a new main. Idk if it’s just the nerfs, the content creation or the nerfs+ opponents zss matchup experience but he’s not been at that genesis 7 level since before quarantine. It really doesn’t make sense
@@charliep9986 Both the nair nerf and the Up-B nerf hurt. A lot. Her hitboxes are very small and the additional lag on these just takes options off the table and makes these moves less reliable (up-B sees many more whiffs and fall outs now).

Her up b got a frame more of startup so it got worse as an oos option which was good because of its speed but lacked range. Now you just have a decent shield pressure option and an oos options that works sometimes. Not to mention how much she has to work for the kill, she has to either land a back air, gimp with nair flipckick at the ledge, or land a down smash read to up b and hope the enemy doesnt fall out from the up b. So now you have a character that when works can beat everyone, but most of the time you struggle to get the kill and to punish shield.

The nair nerf hurt. Lot of ZSS players in Japan resulted in the nerf. Japan tier list is weird though. Felt a little undue.
