Seems AI is more wholesome than humans.
Speaking about connecting and all those things humans dislike.
Considering that the AI works by essentially making an aggregate of the writings that have been fed into it, all of which were written by humans, this really means that people are more wholesome than we give ourselves credit for.
I think this is also why when you ask it to write music it usually just provides you with nothing but the tonic and occasionally dominant tones/chords. It’s because if you take all of music and average it out, the tonic and dominant are so prominent in relation to everything else that that’s all you’re left with.

@@ky1ewithsty1e Yeah it's weird.... The technology is cool and progressing greatly, but I don't think people realize it won't be all positive. All art... music, visual art, text (books, lovecraft and everything?!) Came from people and they are important, because they are made by people and they are cool. AI will make everything more accessible, but not in a way, which will feel like you are creating something by yourself, thus not giving the creative enlightment of making a creative piece. So at the end of the day AI will only make the lives of those who bring us joy with creative works more miserable, by discrediting a lot of the necessary hard work (let's say technical skills for guitar, which is not all about playing the most complex songs in reality) easy and more "acceptable" to replace. It won't really give us anything new to be happy about. It will be succesful, because everything works under capitalism. It has worked until now, but AI technology will show it's problems. Everything about life is not about being the most efficient, but creating something that's actually meaningful and we as humans have gotten past the hunter gatherer phase, so art is an acceptable path for not only the elite to pursue.... It's all wrong. If AI could write all the guitar parts, there would be like 1/40th of the guitarists that there are today. Humans create new. That would mean, new genres and styles of guitar playing would evolve 1/40 faster and those who are new influetial guitar players evolving the style, have gone through lots and lots and lots more disrespect, bullying, existential crisis, miser, and overall feeling like they are pursuing nothing, than guitarists till now. The moment they make something new, people will treat them like gods. But only when that happens. That's why this all will make people not want to pursue those things and we will be left with only AI stuff to keep us happy throughout our lives.... That's what I feel about everything right now and it's all so ridiculous

The AI has been surprisingly good at writing djent, but you would indeed expect 90%+ to be 0-0-0-0-0-0-0. Writing it in tabs would not make much sense. It would be cool if you could ask ChatGPT to perform it. It would be exciting to hear that drum bends. Perhaps ChatGPT is the new Eddie Van Halen of drums 😆
