Thank you for providing an unbiased review of Torrevieja, unlike some other TH-camrs more focused on showing their faces and creating clickbait titles than offering fair and balanced insights like yours. Having visited Torrevieja for nearly 20 years and owning an apartment there, I fully agree with your observations at the start of the video. The graffiti problem, which had improved for a while, has spiralled out of control again so there is still room for more improvement. Every coastal town has its roots as a humble fishing village, but poor management by the town hall and flawed urban planning have taken their toll, leaving much to be desired in Torrevieja's current state but it is improving but in 10 years it has improved greatly
A very balanced and accurate description of an up and coming city. We stayed in our friends’ apartment facing Park of Nations recently and it was an absolute pleasure. Apart from the people watching, the overriding atmosphere was friendly and safe. Families with children were in the park at 11pm. I don’t know anywhere in the UK where you would see such a sight. A short walk takes you to the promenade with several beaches and quality bars and restaurants. All in all a very pleasurable experience. Your video was a perfect summary of why Torrevieja is most definitely the go to place in the region.
Thanks for a brilliant and unbiased video where you have gave your own first hand account of Torrevieja having bought and lived in the area for 10 years. It is obvious to me that Torrevieja is an up and coming area and all the private investors who have put money into the massive improvements wouldn't be doing so if it was a dump. You have included a lot of facts in your video which reflect the upward trend in Torrevieja. 😊
Grazie dì cuore per tutti i video, per i tuoi consigli e perché sei un professionista. Voglio venire per fare delle vacanze con la mia famiglia e vorrei incontrarti. Dall'Italia ti mando un abbraccio.
Torrevieja is improving daily, it is now the fastest growing city in Spain with over 7% population increase in 2023, property prices have skyrocketed but there’s still deals to be found 😉😉😉😊
Yes a lot of investment in the area …..old buildings turning into new ..making it a better place that’s why property prices continue to rise all the time
But as you know when you come to sell unless you are buying another house 🏠 you will pay 24% property gains tax ..but yes property prices are still going crazy
Hi, can you tell us if there are a lot of mozzies around Torrevieja and the salt lakes? I have been thinking of buying around this area but it's kind of putting me off.
Actually we are majority Swedish and Ukrainian here in Torrevieja . Norwegian people was taken over by the Swedish about 10 years ago. Ukrainian are the biggest new population here arriving .
It's still a dump but at least they are investing in it. If they keep investing it will take another 10 years to get it up to scratch. I wish them well.

Well said! Couldn't agree any more.
Refreshing to hear the positives rather than the others who are just negative about Torrevieja, I love the place , people and Spanish culture.
Yes nice hear some good reviews 👍
Not much Spanish culture here now ? 15 years ago yes. It's Hispanic and Cuban and Scandinavian & Ukrainian & Argentina more than anything else now

@@paradiseworldvideos3859yes we bought a house in March 2024 and it has doubled in price (we have put in new kitchen, new bathrooms, new floors etc.)
But as you know when you come to sell unless you are buying another house 🏠 you will pay 24% property gains tax ..but yes property prices are still going crazy
Brilliant video colin, excellent response to a recent video by a vain, self centered negative sunglasses wearing git!😂😂❤❤
Absolutely
Hi, can you tell us if there are a lot of mozzies around Torrevieja and the salt lakes? I have been thinking of buying around this area but it's kind of putting me off.
Yes but it’s not just here …they come out in the summer ..but they are everywhere
@@paradiseworldvideos3859 Arr right ok, I heard they flock there because of the salt lakes.
When the mosquito are out they are everywhere no matter where you are don’t let that put you off
@@paradiseworldvideos3859 I'm over in June to look at areas because I'm hoping to buy
Mozzies don't live in salt water.
Love this place🙏
Super buzzing in the summer months

Col, not the best start standing by graffiti and saying Torrevieja is not a dump😂❤❤
It's not a dump though is it, as you and I know it's a great place to live. Long may it continue ❤❤❤
I know but just explaining the reasons 🤔
I hate a lot of grafiti in Spain.Left liberal antifa member like and make it!
It's still a dump but at least they are investing in it. If they keep investing it will take another 10 years to get it up to scratch. I wish them well.
I rather be here than the uk fantastic promenade and restaurants so much to do ..it’s improving all the time
