    Pro99 coolant yang ginamit nyo. Pre-mix na yan, ready to use na at ilalagay na lang sa radiator. Maliban na lang kung concentrated kailangang mixture ng distilled water.

    This car only takes 5 litres total not 7 to fill with coolant....it also takes blue coolant not green...you also need to flush the heater matrix and the block....there is a block plug located at the back of the block left hand side about three quarters the way up the block...

      He flushed with dest water and let the engine run, so I guess this will have flushed everything, also heater/block?! He mixed 50-50 (as supposed) so 2l coolant, 2l dest water. Idk why he had 5l written at start. Colour is no issue if not mixed - as long as suitable for aluminium blocks. OEM Mitsu is indeed blue. ;)
      If you open a plug, you need to reinstall with new ring and correct torque to prevent leakage. I always "just do a good flush". Never had problems.

      Just drain and fill with coolant, either concentrate or pre-mix, whichever is cheaper. Coolant is cheap anyways.

      Change coolant at least every 100k. you can just drain and fill every 50k or so, no need to flush.

  • @welfarewagonrepairs
    @welfarewagonrepairs 3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

    do you not drain the engine?

      Actually there are two drain plugs. One on the radiator and another on the engine block. I believe he only drained the radiator. That's totally fine. It just means you may need to flush the system a few more times with the distilled water.

    Tuwing kelan po ba dapat mag flush at mag palit ng coolant sir?? Kasi po mag 3years na po yung mirage g4 namin hndi ko pa po na flushing pero yung coolant dinadagdagan ko lng po. Sana po mapansin nyo to.

    • @puppyp9299
      @puppyp9299 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      just do drain and fill every 50k, coolant is cheap. There is also Long Life coolant that can last up to 100k. if you have green fluid, stick with it.

    • @puppyp9299
      @puppyp9299 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Fill it with Coolant. If you take the vehicle to dealer or shop for service (oil change, etc) and they dont fill your coolant, don't take it back there. They should be checking your coolant to make sure it's full. If you do your own oil change, you should know to check for coolant level as well.

    you need blue coolant for that car

  • @vvechzel
    @vvechzel 2 ปีที่แล้ว

    Mukhang nakalimutan yata na i-flush yung old coolant sa heater core. (old coolant = blue) tapos pinalitan ng bago (new coolant = green). Mangyayari nyan maghahalo yung two types of coolants which may cause damage sa engine, kapag pina-andar yung heater. see video: th-cam.com/video/czqDqDZHzVw/w-d-xo.html

    • @jamesgarcia8985
      @jamesgarcia8985 ปีที่แล้ว

      No need. Kita mo naman finlush nia. Sasama na yung mga residual coolant sa flush galing sa heater core at block. Nadilute na ng husto yun. Mejobkulang lang sa flushing kasi may kulay pa yung last na lumabas. May mauiwan jan oo pero kapag clear na, napakaminimal na noon at very little to no impact na kasi super diluted.
