Hey mate, I just got mine for 109 eur, a total bargain ! Like you, I'm very pleased with the quality and features. The ETU, the goodies and the Deans connector, the quick spring change is also quite nice. I'll test it indoors this weekend after throwing a 90 spring in it.
DE are smashing it right now, my 556 is amazing
6:00 IIRC The large aperture on your sight is for closer quarters fast acquisition, the small hole is for further distance/precision shooting.
It can also be used for day/night shooting, but the concept is the exact same for target acquisition/precision. Its really just preference, as you can use both apertures during the day depending on your range and then use the large aperture at night so you don't have to mess around trying to acquire the front sight in the dark.

The larger aperture of the rear sight is for closer, faster shots. The smaller aperture is for longer range, more precise shots. (On real firearms)
Update: right anyone gettign this you need to change out the gears as the gears in them are defective and it's too much for the motor, change them to cyma or similar 13:1 gears and update to compression too.
You will see a massive difference and the motor will not get hot quickly. Also, also1major thing.....
Them you shim it you CAN USE and I'm serious you can USE 7.4v lipo batteries with it too as mine using both 11.1 vs 7.4 there is no difference after I upgraded mine.
The motor will be happy with those gears and when you adjust the height a tiny bit more the screeching noise will go away as it not quite adjust out of factory.
Ps. Try to get cyma mushroom cylinder head and piston head too.
These things will 200% make it back into what the older ones were liek and the full auto isn't mad or crazy just exactly where it should be.
must admit I was gonna get a CYMA for my first gun but these Double Eagles seem to be smashing it, less need for upgrading too

The real steel version is in 762x39 blackout so 762 is the calibre

but the SMG are really nice and this looks sweet.
Double Eagle is knocking it out of the park,I just change barrel length(hide with supressor)
buckup (micron 60) rubber and High torque motor then spring and piston if need be(But scared of gearbox mods Xd).
I think the UTR45 looks better with that long ass mag.

im getting one and this is gonna e my very first 416 style and i reckon the handguard can fit on a 416 receiver as the bit that hold the handguard can come out so i tihnk not only this is compact and very good from what you and others have said but also very adaptive in externals chganges as i do find the DE can take mk18-m4v7 to bcm style handguards.
I have the DEX556 version in tan, I absolutely love it. I can’t wait for the DCX18 to be released.

Nice compact pew, loving the bronzed handguard. I can see this as a younger/smaller players starter rig. DE are definitely underrated especially by the high end fan Boys. Great video as always.

Absolutely yes! Its small and light enough to be perfect
and its an m4 internally so loads you can do with it

yes pretty much, I've got the Maxim gel blaster version that I got about a year ago that I plan on converting when I get some time. It's a lovely little aeg.

I google the motor they are 3 euro each but you need to order min 10,000
I only have a small shed in the back yard and the wife might throw me out of da house.
