I never had any issues with 10* wheels on my Lambretta back in the mid '70s. And that was all metal.

That is a lovely looking scooter. The maneuverability on 10" wheels worries me, how did you find it? Is the storage under the seat good enough for an open face helmet or a bit of shopping which is what I'd use the scooter for? Thank you 😊
Bit wobbly over 50mph, and only enough storage under the seat for a handbag or a loaf of bread or the morning pint of milk

@@RevBombUK A scooter with a simple plastic body would be good for the winter.
I think we have all been there with those simple 10 minute 1 man jobs jobs that go on for most of the day and suck in every spare bod into the effort. I remember being asked to give a hand unpacking a server rack. Five minute job. Four hours later there were five of us. We even went off to BQ for adjustable spanners because the rack and the wooden pallet it was attached would not be parted. When we did finally get them apart we found a 'spanner' taped the bottom of the rack of the exact size we needed. Whoever taped it to the bottom is a sick, sick man because it weren't funny at the end. (It was really!)
