Hey Jason. Just Camera mic for this one. Occasionally I set up a field recorder in the lighting rig, centre-stage about 3m in front, but TBH, the extra effort doesn't really yield much better results and catches more crowd disturbance. I could get a line from the desk, but in practice, this just involves an extra step to sync up in post and again, the 'improvement' doesn't seem worthwhile. It is useful in case I get the levels too hot in the camera, which can happen in large venues with mega KW rigs. I guess it must be doing ok for you to ask?
@@marginwalker01 The x100f will do a good job of filming, but the set up is a bit buried and maybe there is not really enough manual control over audio. I have the x100t, so not sure exactly. The image quality is great, but the manual focus is a bit slow and vague feeling and autofocus was non existent. Maybe on the f it can be done. Anyway I am shooting everything with my XT3 now, which is awesome in most respects, though I am secretly coveting a 100F as I love that format so much. No external mic used.
I wanna go to a show at the windmill but I’m 17 and the show is 18. I am considering getting a fake id and I was just wondering what the bouncers are like checking id, do they scan then is it easy to get in etc.??
Can someone explain me where i can listen to their music online?(not live, recordings) As i understand they have only 2-3 songs recorded. I'm not from England, not from US, but i really want to listen it. OMG PLS GIVE IT TO ME.
事件视界 There TH-cam Chanel has two of the three songs they’ve recorded on it, which include speedway and Crows Perch. Besides that you can find bmbmbm by looking it up. Besides that on their Bandcamp account they have a live album that is good but not like this really.
@Lou Smith Yeah I understand that, I meant more that was the only things out there of their work right now that isn’t live videos. I’m still really happy to see them signed to Rough Trade even if it’s been so long since
You caught me in a salty moment. Apologies for my shortness. In truth, I guess if it’s not here, it must not’ve got recorded. Too much work to rummage amongst the myriad hard drives to try and find a definitive answer. Pretty sure I’ve uploaded every shred of black midi footage I’ve ever shot with maybe the exception of a ropey wings cover 😂.
Four years later and this mf made the best film score of the year with Poor Things and is probably getting an Oscar nomination
Great going. You saw him here first!
can't wait for Black Midi to drop the best Blues album of the 2020's

I need more Jerskin Fendrix tbh, what is he up to lately? A Star Is Born is such a good track and I can't stop listening to it!
Agree! No idea what he's up to now. We did interview him during lockdown and he did appear to be writing stuff.
I'm pretty sure this is the concert referenced in BCNR - Track X

Yeah I was wondering! I wonder if you can see Isaac back there
Jerskin Fendrix has a charm to him. Wish he’d come back.
Yeah. Wonder what he's doing. I know he was interested in composing soundtracks, so maybe doing it behind the scenes.
