I don't mind whether you find gold or not Levi. Just watching your adventures keeps me going. As a disabled person from injuries received in a 24 metre fall when I was 19. I have never been able to do what you do, ever since, and I used to be as fit as a butchers dog and loved hiking all over the place. I used to hike the wilds of Ireland for days or sometimes weeks at a time. Then the fall left me crippled for 3 years, but I got my legs back under me after a lot of physio and determination. Now with a lot of sciatic nerve pain which only allows short walks and only flat ground, my life is depressingly boring most days. So your adventures have become mine too. Keep it up Levi, gold or not. Just seeing the beautiful scenery and watching you work is all I need. So THANK YOU so much for what you do.
I didn't have the fall just some serious abuse in my younger days..and now disk damage. But I do understand the sciatica pain. To much use and your barely able to move. I still want to find a local river to get out on prospecting
74 here, a lot of stupidity in my younger days, 4 full term babies, and a few more that didn't make it to term....mind and body pain. But watching you I can be young and active ( in my mind anyway ) again. Thanks too my Tazzy boys. Don't let the law stop you.
Levi keep up the great work. I understand the work you put in. They call it protecting not finding. It's called fishing not catching. Sometimes you find and other times you don't. People need to remember it's about the adventure. Thank you for showing us all the places in Tasmania that most of us won't ever get to see for ourselves.
For the real gold heads, you could start a second TH-cam channel. Show all the trips that don't produce much and speak honestly about those experiences. No one could ever accuse you of dishonesty. And for those who only want to see the big hauls, they can stick to the main channel. Cheers!
I'm with this bloke Levi! I appreciate the honesty more than anything. I even enjoyed your non-prospecting trip. Plus if you are raking in gold after gold....... we are only going to get jealous mate ,🤣 Then who's thinking they've failed? I don't need reminding that I've failed. It's like a fine line between hope and hatered hahaha (jokes)
No one could convince me that sniping for gold would be easy! As many times I've watched you hike many miles thru the forest, craw over and under log jams, drag you equipment in and out of the water, pull you raft up many streams and creeks to find bedrock, remove many tons of rock and gravel! They must be idiots to think that's easy! My hats are off to you, Levi! I appreciate your efforts in all you do to give us what we like to see, successful or not. Thank you for sharing your adventures with us, who wish we could do what you do! Keep on sniping. ✌️ 😊
I love the hiking, camping, rafting and the incredible scenery. 14 years ago I was hiking, Colorado and Kansas, canoeing trips, camping, fishing and enjoying the outdoors daily. Then Dec 2010 I was a passenger in a small 2 door car that was hit by a dairy truck that blew through a yield sign. And in the state of Kansas the person at fault doesn't have to pay for injuries, the individuals own insurance has to pay for their medical care. Crazy huh? I didn't have a vehicle so I didn't have insurance. Now I am housebound and can barely walk. So I watch videos of the outdoors. The videos where you find gold are just icing on the cake.
For me it’s not only about the gold, but I do enjoy seeing the gold collected. It’s about your adventures around Tasmania walking those tracks and even what you do with the family. It’s about “seeing” some of the great areas of Australia.
There is no failure in gold prospecting; you're certainly one of the more successful prospectors out there. I used to look for minerals, and often I came home with empty hands as well - but still enjoyed a good day out in nature.
Levi the scenery is worth it by itself. And unlike those other blatantly contrived "mining" & "gold" channels who have all the setbacks, broken machinery, accidents, illnesses & then suddenly hit a jackpot find, you (& Rob) show it like it is. Hard knocks, no finds, good finds & the occasional bonanza. That's what people who have never & may never go metal detecting let alone "sniping" for gold in the middle of nowhere appreciate. Honesty & the truth of how hard , but immensely rewarding your entire journey of looking for gold is. 👍.
Levi, trust me I don't watch your videos just because I'm guaranteed to see Gold, I started because you are cool and show us amazing things. I'd be happy seeing an hour of beautiful scenery, than an ounce of gold in 15 minutes of video :) Keep it up, I know how much hard work goes into making one of your videos, it's nice to give us all perspective once in a while. Thanks!
I just like to go on the adventure with you, the scenery, the unknown, the hunt. It is not all about the gold, it is mostly the hike, the rafting, the setting of camp sites, the stories, the narration and the exploring. Only you know when enough is enough, but i dont expect you to be successful every time i just enjoy the adventure and the view which is absolutely stunning. I enjoy seeing the gold but that is less interesting then every thing else. I know it is not as simple as it is shown and a lot of effort goes into every video. You are very good at your job. I enjoyed it and i would watch the other videos.
I think most of us watch these not really because we want to get out there an get stuck in, its because we cant get out there so we watch channels like these to have the experience of what its like to do it also we love to see the gold an want you to succeed in getting it, an people saying you make it look ez know how much time an effort you put into making the content an the hunts because you do all the research an try an find the best places an it pays off most of the time, but not hitting the gold is part of the "job" too so its still good to show us the fails an struggles cos it makes seeing you find gold even more enjoyable to watch, so thx you for making videos hopefully there's more to come thru the bad times an good ill be here to watch an support 🙂
This looks absolutely brutal, but for this viewer it is still very interesting.Even without the gold I love seeing the scenery and watching a man against the elements and overcoming.
Let ‘em rip Levi. Real prospectors know the reality of a failed prospect but also love the peace and tranquility of the hunt. I loved this video. It’s not always about the gold. Heavy snuffers Levi.
I feel serious second-hand exhaustion just from watching you hiking around in the wetsuit! Huge props to all the effort that goes into your prospecting videos, gold or no gold, it's always awesome to see your adventures. Also I feel like your channel does more for Tasmanian tourism than anything I've ever seen.
Honestly! Just your commentary of the videos. The explores you do. The insight to the old timers is insane. The gold is just a bonus! Keep on going, Levi. Real impressive.
100% because if it's all just for show, when you go out there yourself and find nothing at all, you are going to be left feeling like a failure...... When in reality it's all part of the process, but we don't know that cause we don't see it. The reality of prospecting is more valuable than the gold it's self cause it's contextual. I know that's a controversial statement to make So here's the example scenario , I've been prospecting for 6 months found nothing, about to give up, but watch your videos about lucking out....I get motivated just to not give up, not motivated to actually go seeking but I do it anyway? Well now your video is now worth more than the gold? And I'm just 1 person...... that could be multiple people that have had similar experience? If the only message take away from your last video was 'to just not give up' then I strike gold....... You're video worth now cause it's yours gold plus my gold plus anyone else out there that you've inspired? The fact you can't sell yours make what you doing MOST CERTAINLY WORTHWHILE!!!
I absolutely loved this video 👌🏼 Thank you for sharing and being so honest. It's not just the gold for me, I love watching the adventure and relating to the struggles. Great stuff mate 🤙🏾
I'd take any adventure you are willing to offer. Finding a pile of shiney is very nice and all, but isn't the reality. Raw adventure though, is what I'm here for. Thanks for your content!
First of all, never ever have you failed, second of all, never ever call yourself a failure. You are one of the best people in the world at what you do, and don't forget that!!!.Levi Wether or not you find gold, you provide me and thousands of others with some of the most amazing videos and comintries in the world of TH-cam, and other media sites. I really appreciate your videos and they are great help to keep us informed and motivated. We can live through your eyes and feel part of your life. It supports me and my depression and other issues. Thanks for sharing your story with us. Remember if you haven't failed then you haven't tried. You are an awesome guy and an inspiration to many people, Never kick yourself in the balls, when most people don't even have them to do what you do. Even the Government is scared of you. Good luck with all your hard work. Stay safe out there, and be very proud of yourself, you deserve it. Love you buddy. ❤❤.
Mate your failures are still golden epic adventures your living a prospectors dream. Yes it's all hard work that we love and makes us a stronger us. I appreciate all you do the good the bad and the ugly thanks mate for your dedication to bring it to us your dedicated subscribers
Gold or no gold Levi. You, son, are the Real Gold in these adventures. Thank you Mate, for sharing your amazing life with us. You earn every speck of gold and good fortune that comes your way. You are a wonderful Ambassador for Australia.Cheers from Michael. Australia.😁
Please do show us the other fail videos. We don't care about the gold that much, the scenery and adventures are just as important to Suez and I. Also we are old bushies and campers so we respect the efforts in maintaining all the gear involved. Cheers Levi, you are a documentary legend and we can't wait for your next vid.
Well done mate! People do not understand how much effort is involved. We generally don’t talk about our failures but they are more common than our successes. 👍😎
You have never failed on making awesome videos. For those of us that can’t get out you bring us great videos. Keep up the awesome videos and stay positive. We love your vids.
It has taken me years to fully understand that ITS NOT ABOUT THE GOLD! We step off track when we focus on the numbers and thats a recipe for disaster. The gold is always fun but it's more the happiness it brings to us that people can relate to. You're the most daring gold sniper out there in probably the most intense area, and you still manage to film the whole thing. The fact that sometimes you do hit it big is something to be proud of but should not be what makes or breaks you.
I know mate just thought I throw a curve ball episode in the mix and I think it’s important they see some of the less fruitful missions. I actually enjoy the no gold trips it means I can keep my head above water more and take it all in.
You put in the work no doubt. You get to see nature in its full beauty. Peace and quiet. That type of stuff is worth its weight in gold to most. I appreciate your drive and hard work just to share your experiences with us all.
It’s not about the Gold, it’s about the adventure. Life is short have fun. I wish I was with you but I’m stuck in the hospital fighting for my life. Cancer sucks.
I watch for the adventure. Shure gold is nice to see since you're goal is to find it but if it wasn't a challenge it would be boring. Also you're production quality is great and you put much time in it. You and your buddy Rob have the kind of personality that makes us all friends instantly. Ohh and the scenery and other adventures you do! Just wached you guys stick it out and find the saw at the grave marker. Not all about gold! The history, geology and stories are more to me than the heft of your gold sack.
Hey mate, doesnt matter if you get gold or not, i absolutely love watching you working under water, much more interesting than digging ledshots and ledshots. chin up buddy, we all go through dead days..
A failure is a quitter....you are not a quitter. Nobody is 100%, but you are really close. The Tassie rivers are beautiful and are worth the watching. Show what you film. It has value. Be careful out there.
Hi. I started watching your channel because of your gold adventures but very quickly realised it was as much about seeing the real Tasmania that no one ever experiences. It’s not all about the gold . Thanks for all your time spent making this excellent content. From Scotland 🏴
Video is worth watching. The scenery is beautiful and largely unseen by most people. Breathtaking. Thanks for showing me a part of my country that I would never see.
Hey Levi, life is tough and we don't always win. Gold or no gold, all of your content has been very thought out and very good. You just keep doing like you have been And I will keep watching...
Brother Levi 99 percent of the people understand that the reality is that not everytime you go prospecting you some gold. I really love your channel and the scenery.
I don’t see anything wrong with showing these sorts of trips bundled into a video like this. It’s obviously part of it, even though you said at the beginning that no gold was found, I was still waiting for some gold to turn up 😂 it’s all good to see and better than not posting videos on your much loved channel
Thank you for telling the ultimate truth about gold prospecting. It doesn't happen every time. It's not Christmas or your birthday. Every time you go out, it's hard it gets frustrating. But that's the whole thing with the journey. It doesn't happen all the time, but that's it. The hunt ,the thrill of the adventure. Even if you don't find anything Like You stated the beauty that you're bringing in of Mother nature is Overwhelming and can NEVER be replaced with a picture. Life is hard if you don't find your gold just try another day.
Gold or no gold we will still always watch your videos. I’ve had many goldless days but I don’t have to film it either. Spent four weeks dredging in Cape York in the 90’s for less then half an ounce. 2022 six weeks on the Palmer detecting for 20 grams.
That was cool another 2 beautiful tassie rivers that I would never have seen so thanks for being a failure they were excellent spots thanks for sharing see you on the next one👍🏼👊🏼
You and Rob have found most the gold, that's the problem 😂 Love you dude, this was a cool perspective and I really enjoyed it, always making us proud Levi! Failure or not! Like I've said previously you could make it the most amazing experience comparing your grass length to your neighbors or stamp collecting 🤣
Love seeing your video's gold or no gold. Just enjoying the wonderful views and place's you share is amazing. Some people can't get around to see what beautiful tassie has to look at. Many people find happiness and comfort in your videos.. keeping it real is what life is all about, levi. I can hear jarom in the background saying enjoy every minute, share every minute gold or no gold 💛
Love seeing you get the gold bonus for showing us such amazing places Levi. Love the honesty. The best part is the journey, we get the reward every time.
Blessings to you Levi being honest makes for an amazing person but in the long run all prospectors do have bad days they don't tell about love all your videos weather gold is found or not stay strong ❤💯
We have watched you for a while Levi and you deserve every speck of gold you find in that freezing water. Like all of us, we have good days and tough days. Love your work!
Good on you, Levi. An honest look into what you face just to bring the content. Show the other two I say. Just seeing our awesome Tassie scenery makes it worth it. Finding the gold is a bonus.
Awesome video thank you. Please show more. You are bringing us along on an awesome wilderness adventure. Gold is a nice bonus but the reality is you don’t always find gold. Again thank you for awesome content please keep showing us these no gold days.
Man, I know it isn't easy finding gold, if it were easy, it wouldn't be as valuable as it is. What is valuable is the enjoyment I get from your videos my friend. Keep it up and I'll keep clicking on them.
The adventure is what I'm here to see Levi. Is a failure? Heck no. Seeing the beauty of your island home is everything, Levi. I don't have that here in the suburbs of Washington DC. USA... love watching either way. Heck I just found out that 1oz of gold is $2400 US$. Ha.
I enjoyed this episode because we get to see parts of our country few men travel let alone prospect for gold. Whether you get gold or not truly does not matter to me. It shows the reality of prospecting for gold plus the ups and downs including the adventure. But when you do strike gold it is good to know you can recoup the cost of your adventures.
We all set out to find 20oz of gold each trip and if we're lucky may find 1 or 2 grams and more often than not no gold at all. Pretty disheartening when you drive over 100 ks one way, but that keeps you going and makes the good days so rewarding. Keep plugging away Levi. That 20 oz patch is out there 😊. Plus we all enjoy your content very much. You're a Tassie diamond!
I loved that one as much as any other bro there's always times that try us:) some of the sights you see no one has been for potentially hundreds of years if ever! thanks for bringing them to us keep up the good work brother
Levi, I’m following your TH-cam journey because I think you “keep it real” you’re not out there with the latest and greatest gear. I don’t expect you to find the mother load every time. I just love the country side. We purchased an inflatable canoe recently as it was getting to hard to load the old fashioned ones on the car then promptly forgot the pump first time out😂
Keeping it real, can't tell you how many times I've been for not even a speck. But still love the adventures. Success or no, can't wait for your next adventure !
My friend, I enjoy your videos and words of encouragement regardless of gold found. I have always wanted to visit your homelands but the reality is I may never be able t, and that being sai, I truly enjoy the sights and tours you provide us. Thank you for all your effort you put forth for us. Believe it or not I do feel like I'm not alone when I am honest enough to say it's not just for the gold. Your family needs to be thanked as well for allowing you to take the time required for us. Failure or success I have nothing but respect for you and yours. Cheers from Canada James
In any way your videos are always awesome filled with the good and the bad It’s the Adventure that counts 😎😎😎 it all comes with the job !!! Thankyou for sharing your hard earned work and the special Adventure you have along the way 👍
Levi, I’ve very much enjoyed your videos, whether you find gold or not! It’s great when you do find gold, but the videos of the beautiful Tasmanian bush and rivers are awesome! It takes a very mature person to admit that sometimes you fall short of your goals! I was born a Stannard! So to have you explore and expose the history of the old timers opened my eyes! I come from the Queensland side of the family. Stannard is an unusual surname so I’m pretty sure that at somewhere and sometime my ‘Stannard family would be related’ To some of those early Stannard’s’ Hey chin up you bring so much joy to those of us who can’t do what you do! AND your videos are educational/and in themselves a lasting legacy for all of us! Love your work 😘 Carolyn Payne née Stannard (Queensland)
Im happy to watch all ya adventures no matter which way it goes, keep up the great work Always Enjoyed 😊 Cheers 🍻🍻🍻🍻KC Cradle Mountain Tasmania 🇦🇺🤝🇦🇺😎😊👍
It’s still nice watching the beauty of the river, scary to watch in some places where the river is running so fast and the landscape is rough. But it’s all in the nature, love watching either way.
Love all your work, the adventures and the camera shots. Why not put some prints or copies of your best pictures up for sale. You may be surprised. One suggestion - put a magnet on your "stick" and use that to sample for magnetite in the cracks - gold often rides the iron horse, as you know.
Keep up the good work.... gold or no gold, we enjoy watching your videos. Loved the bloopers... Tyler Thompson always added his bloopers at the end of his videos and they were always good to watch. Keep up the good work... Cheers.
I love seeing you pull big piles of gold out of your adventures, I live in an area where there is virtually no gold. Some people have found some flour and small bits here and there, but they are usually far, far out in the middle of nowhere, and the deposits are so rare that the locations are never shared or revealed unless you are part of that person's life In a big way... I do believe gold is everywhere, but like you mentioned in your video, small rare deposits that many probably never find unless someone stumbles on one by mere luck... I still enjoy these videos regardless, just because i love nature, the wildlife, and I very much love camping and exploring. I also enjoy practicing and expanding my knowledge of bushcrafting and other various survival skills, I've been wanting to build myself a new pack load out for camping, survival and even maybe making a go bag (emergency survival pack) for the home and/or vehicle. I finally have a good amount of decent gear. But I tend to get carried away with the survival aspect, and one of its features is redundancy, having gear that has multiple uses and always having backup gear like you mention in your video... My main problem is that I don't have quite as much experience as you being out in the deep wilderness, so whenever I start making my pack i end up overloading it with too much redundant gear, or multiples of certain items that may be considered overkill lol... then I either run out of room for gear that is also a necessity, or my pack becomes so heavy it will make the trip more difficult than it should be because of me possibly being overloaded with too much, and having less experience with solo multi day trips into the deep bush. A part of my brain trying to be prepared for any possible circumstance. Like all things, there needs to be a balance and knowledge of how much gear is needed and not to let myself get carried away with too much redundancy when other gear items would be more beneficial... for example, it's good practice to have at least two different ways to be able to produce a fire, or having a main knife and a smaller backup, and having a mutlitool with you, more than one way to purify water... and I always end up putting 3 or 4 ways to do each, which is probably overkill and that space and weight could have been used for some other more vital and needed gear for the trip... I see you as being a very experienced outdoorsmen, you also have the knowledge and experience of what gear should take priority and what gear gets used for these type of trips, along with what you can do without vs what is absolutely vital.... I honestly wouldn't mind seeing a video of what gear you use for these multiple day trips and with your extensive knowledge and experience a breakdown of what items and gear you take with you, what you believe to be necessary and vital items. From your videos, I've learned that usually your packs can get pretty heavy, Maybe even share some knowledge on the dos and do nots of packing a proper pack, how to distribute the weight properly, emergency gear, food and clothing for these trips, gear that toy have used and know is reliable, what to avoid. And other things that I may not have thought to mention... Anyways, I still love your videos and your channel, and I appreciate you keeping things real and down to earth for us. Becuase I can only imagine how many hours and days of footage you have that never gets of youtube because you feel it may not be worthy or up to standards... Sorry this comment got so long. Anyways, keep up the good work, and we are here to learn from you. While encouraging and supporting you to keep pushing ahead on your adventures, stay safe. 👍
When I saw your title it reminded me of what we’ve been going through with our son. He loves drawing, this last year he’s been hyper focused on planes ✈️ and sometimes he gets frustrated that things don’t turn out perfectly and he says he’s failed and he feels like he’s not successful. We point out to him that every successful person in this life didn’t just have things happen perfectly and that’s just the path to success so he should never give up. We see all your videos of you getting gold every time but obviously that isn’t realistic but it leads to success. I was amazed at the awesome beauty of this trip and gold prospecting doesn’t mean that you always get the gold. I personally enjoyed this video!
I Like how you Never give up Levi, that is what it takes to Prospect and make finds, I am at least 2X your age and have found just over 12 pounds of Gold in my goof off time, not serious mining, there must be quite a few pockets out in your areas that is where I found most of my gold in Pockets wish I could come show you how to pocket hunt, I learned from an Old timer Luckily.
Hey Levi, I really don’t care if you find gold or not, I watch for amazing footage you capture of remote areas and rivers showcasing the truly majestic scenery that Tassie has. Keep up the great work and many thanks for all the time and effort that goes into each video and thanks to your family for allowing you to be able to do it.
Any one who has prospected knows full well sometimes you get rewarded and many times you don’t but the journey has to be done for love of the next great find ❤ya work The worst thing for a prospector is finding gold it’s like a drug 👍
I watch you because of the scenery and your efforts to find gold. It's nice to see gold, but without it. I still enjoy watching. Please keep going for the old prospectors , that can't do it any more . Hoping for a honey hole for you🤞
Yes mate , it's not always a walk in the park , lol .😂 i don't think anybodies under the illusion that it is . And if they are , then they should try it and then they might appreciate the effort you put into it . I know a little bit about it, i think !!! You're a Modern day explorer, that's it , and the Gold is just a bonus for your efforts . Failures or not , they are never failures until you quit and give up . But you won't do that because it's your blood . Post your other vids Levi , we will be only to happy to watch your every Adventure matey , and that makes it all the more realistic for those out there that think it's all Beer and Skittles , cause it's not !!!! It's Bloody hard work , but still lots of fun 👍👍✔✔. Cheers Ned . ✌✌
I get this far more than the average person may. As an ice climber I’ve been seeking first ascents all over Western USA more than 35 years. Failure comes with the territory. Avalanche conditions, ice conditions, gear failure, poor weather and other factors can all get in the way until everything lines up for a successful first ascent. Maintaining gear is essential every trip, success or not. Keep up the effort, The overall successes will definitely trump the efforts in the long run. Thanks for all you do to bring the world your excellent content!
I havnt tested it but if you google Keeping it REAL a picture or Levi should come up. I love everything you do mate and Thanks for doing what you do !! Ive found Stuff all gold and cant wait to go again ... The places ive seen I would never had seen If I wasnt loooking for a bit of Gold. sometimes you almost expect to see a dinosaur walking around.
Maybe you don't always get the gold Levi, but the true value to us is you and your adventures! 🌟
Oddly I’m not fused about the gold, it’s the country, the camping and your personality that keep me watching
Totally agree. The scenery is amazing.
Yes I've been out in the bush many times come home with great memories
For the real gold heads, you could start a second TH-cam channel. Show all the trips that don't produce much and speak honestly about those experiences. No one could ever accuse you of dishonesty. And for those who only want to see the big hauls, they can stick to the main channel. Cheers!
I'd watch that!
Me too
That would be great
Would watch!
I'm with this bloke Levi!
I appreciate the honesty more than anything. I even enjoyed your non-prospecting trip.
Plus if you are raking in gold after gold....... we are only going to get jealous mate ,🤣
Then who's thinking they've failed?
❤
For me it’s not only about the gold, but I do enjoy seeing the gold collected. It’s about your adventures around Tasmania walking those tracks and even what you do with the family. It’s about “seeing” some of the great areas of Australia.
Despite your best efforts,I saw zero failure, thank you brother for your content, all of it
There is no failure in gold prospecting; you're certainly one of the more successful prospectors out there.
Thanks!
Thanks mate
Mate you haven't failed, as a fellow prospector I know what it's like to come home empty handed, keep doing what you love.
Those who think this is simple, I hope you guys and girls get out there and try to do the same as Levi and many of us gold prospectors do!
I've gone 1 time, and found 1 micro flea poop size. 100% success rate!
Honestly! Just your commentary of the videos. The explores you do. The insight to the old timers is insane. The gold is just a bonus! Keep on going, Levi. Real impressive.
Only a few minutes in but appreciate the honesty mate.. This is actually more motivating than seeing a massive find 👍🙏
100% because if it's all just for show, when you go out there yourself and find nothing at all, you are going to be left feeling like a failure...... When in reality it's all part of the process, but we don't know that cause we don't see it. The reality of prospecting is more valuable than the gold it's self cause it's contextual. I know that's a controversial statement to make
So here's the example scenario , I've been prospecting for 6 months found nothing, about to give up, but watch your videos about lucking out....I get motivated just to not give up, not motivated to actually go seeking but I do it anyway? Well now your video is now worth more than the gold? And I'm just 1 person...... that could be multiple people that have had similar experience?
If the only message take away from your last video was 'to just not give up' then I strike gold....... You're video worth now cause it's yours gold plus my gold plus anyone else out there that you've inspired? The fact you can't sell yours make what you doing MOST CERTAINLY WORTHWHILE!!!
There is no fail. The trips are amazing. Without yu and Rob. I would never get to see that beauty. Thank you . Blessings
Brilliantly said 😊👍
Mate your failures are still golden epic adventures your living a prospectors dream.
I think this whole gold hunting experience has taught me to be completely ok with failure .. I expect it and and appreciate the inevitable successes
Well done mate! People do not understand how much effort is involved. We generally don’t talk about our failures but they are more common than our successes. 👍😎
mate it never looks easy but don’t give up there’s always a big haul on the horizon just don’t think your a failure 😮
Every adventure is a challenge I'm Sure! We appreciate the effort Gold or None! Thanks Levi! Cheers JJ
I enjoyed so many of your adventures, to me you never failed.
Life is so very exciting, the good and bad is expected!
I watched this start to finish. I think It’s important to show the realities of this hobby!
The waterways you work on are spectacular, but the portage is one of the biggest pita's, in my humble opinion!
They can take some of the fun out of it 😂
I watch for the adventure.
Show every adventure, the nature is just as good to see, even if no gold.
Levi, it's not just the gold! It's your company on some of the most beautiful scenery on earth! Love every minute. You are living the dream!
As a fellow Tassie prospector, I can relate to this video far more than the ones where you find the gold 😂
Cheers Levi
Fail adventures are in the eyes of the beholder. Truly awesome brother truly. Thanks for sharing and please stay safe out there
A failure is a quitter....you are not a quitter.
Thanks mate I appreciate it
Video is worth watching.
I guess that's the bitter - sweet mate. You might miss out on the goodies, but where you go and what you get to see is incredible.
Still lovely seeing the beautiful rivers you visit.
Definitely show them mate. Love watching ANYTHING you put out !
Enjoyed the adventure still mate, nice to be reminded that sometimes you just don't find it.
Put the vids U Levi. Love just seeing the beautiful Tasmanian wilderness. And we all fail. That's he ow we learn. Love all your vids keep it up
Love seeing your video's gold or no gold.
Honest. That is how it is sometimes. Well done for showing it 😁👍👍👍
Hello Andrew 😅
I just follow for the scenery , and the gold is a bonus, happy trails . I will be watching.
I can feel your pain. After hundrets of prospecting days out in the wood it is like beeing there by my own. Thx for sharing the Video
Cheers from Canada
James
Thanks James 😊
In any way your videos are always awesome filled with the good and the bad
It’s the Adventure that counts 😎😎😎 it all comes with the job !!!
Stannard is an unusual surname so I’m pretty sure that at somewhere and sometime my ‘Stannard family would be related’
To some of those early Stannard’s’
Hey chin up you bring so much joy to those of us who can’t do what you do! AND your videos are educational/and in themselves a lasting legacy for all of us!
Love your work 😘 Carolyn Payne née Stannard (Queensland)
Levi, you are the man even without the gold the scenery was fantastic 👍
Im happy to watch all ya adventures no matter which way it goes, keep up the great work Always Enjoyed 😊
Cheers 🍻🍻🍻🍻KC Cradle Mountain Tasmania 🇦🇺🤝🇦🇺😎😊👍
I feel exhausted just watching what you go through - but get the benefit of seeing the gorgeous Tassie wilderness - it's awesome! Thank you.
It's good to see the other side of prospecting when the going isn't so fulfilling. As always the content is rich and colourful. Thanks again Levi 👍
You should include more of your failure days for episodes. It' a good dose of reality.
Its videos like this that make we want to move back down to Tassie and explore it properly.
Maybe one day in the future :)
It's not about the gold it's about the adventure you take us on...Keep it up
Keeping it real, it's still very enjoyable content and I don't mind it at all.
Sweet comment Ned 😅
@@Notellemkrik1776 Well thank you sir , And i just got home from my little prospecting mining and filming Adventure also . Cheers Brother .
I enjoyed watching these beautiful adventures. Please keep on showing us all of it, all your content is interesting and beautiful. 😊 Don't give up.
