Gotham Quilts: Manhattan's only quilting business

After noticing that other quilt stores in the city didn't carry more modern fabrics, Andrea Deal and Ivete Tecedor decided to fill the gap with their own store, Gotham Quilts. The shops that came before them have since closed, making Gotham Quilts Manhattan's only quilting business.

I actually became addicted to quilting during the pandemic, Thanks Gotham for mail order and now I go there to shop.

Gotham Quilts is the best and literally only in NYC. The staff is amazing. The classes are educational and fun and the teachers have the best patience on the planet. I was able to a pair of pajama pants, and a handbag and a jacket in their classes and they guided me with such friendly professionalism.
It says a lot how NYC is supposed to be the artistic capital of the United States, but there is only one quilting store; supplies dwindling for all arts. But, I am glad that Andrea and Ivete are the ones that run Gotham Quilts, their friendliness makes everyone feel welcomed and their bright, fun energetic, and colorful range of fabric is hard to beat.
