Rmax 1000 at Red River "waurika bridge" filmed by skydio2

- A quick day trip to the Red River on hwy 79 at the Texas Oklahoma border. Machines were Rmax4 1000, General 2 1000, rzr 4 1000 highlifter and a commander maxx 800. Autonomous filming by a skydio2 drone. Unfortunately the Rmaxx broke down for the second time on this trip and we had to finish the day riding in the commander.

Skydio actually flies itself and tracks the sxs/GPS beacon. I only fly it for scenic shots!

@@escapingthegrind7000 I really like it! It's not perfect as it sometimes can't see thin twigs but that's uncommon and when it comes to unobstructed flight it's flawless!

That drone does really well at avoiding trees.
It's definitely unmatched by any other consumer grade autonomous drone. It crashed twice on this trip, both by very thin twigs that it didn't see in time to avoid. If there is vegetation on the trees though it doesn't have that issue.
Great video. Yamaha rmax 4 is the one I'm thinking I need. How is the engine noise while trail riding?? again, great video.
It's no louder than my dad's general. You can have a conversation at trail speeds. I'm working on another video from our Arkansas trip that should be up in the next couple days!

Looking at drones what is that? Looks awesome. What's the best bang for my buck?
It's the skydio 2. In my opinion unfortunately it's the only viable option for autonomous flight. Dji drones are superior in their manual flight but their self flying active track 2.0 is nowhere near as capable as the skydio. I believe the skydio starts @$1300 usd and goes up depending on options. Bare minimum I would get the beacon with it.
Is that thing a smooth ride?
We love the ride, I personally haven't ridden in the back but our passengers have said that it's not rough back there. I have the shocks set soft since we don't do much fast riding.

Is this a public trail or is it private land?
Its a large stretch of public land along the texas side of the red river. Waurika bridge is where hwy 79 crosses the river.
@@dsb41932 awesome I live in northwest Louisiana so that’s a place I can get to pretty easy. Looks like it will be a great ride!
@@demoneagle19 Its our go to place if we just wanna go somewhere for half a day or so. Easily a full day of riding if youve never been and are exploring.

@@dbphillips1978 we have had engine issues with ours so it is currently at the dealer getting an entire new engine. Buuut I will say that aside, we really love it and I would buy one again. I just got really unlucky.

Have to disagree with everything you said. Why would I not take my kid with me? Cooler is mounted to a bracket between the rear seats and there is room behind the seats for other things. Can move the extra seat forward if I need to.
