Hi everyone, today I'm going to show you tour of my new workshop!
I wasn't active for last 6 months...
It's because I have been working on my new workshop reconstruction.
I want to share it with you and show how it looks.
Still a lot of work there.. This is 50 years old building with strong walls - which thickness near 60 cm. Height of main building - 7 m. Also there I have a bridge crane.
Finally I can move to the bigger and more comfortable workshop - 420 m2.
Remains I have to finished major repairs, but all another arrangement I will be making step by step and sharing with you)

When you first went in, I could see those beams. I thought no way, you have a full-length gantry crane!! How awesome that would be to move stuff around. Those walls!! What did they use that place for, to test hand grenades? That's the strongest build building I've ever seen in my life. I want my first house to be a commercial property so bad. Don't want grass I want a parking lot. If i could find and repurpose a decent 3 bay fire station I would be in heaven.

Damn, that is one fine old building, very very jealous of it. After moving my shop 12 times in 20 years I now know what I need, note I say need for my style of woodworking , and it is this type of building. Downside is, if one can find one similar to that over here in Europe , it would cost many hundreds of thousands maybe a cool 6 figure amount. Wish you loads of luck, and keep posting more shop work, your ideas and if you can the costs too. Karl W

The old doors have have been ruined by the weather and insects. Perhaps rebuild them to the same design would have helped.
