To be fair, you can pass out simply from reading your ledger. So he has reason to worry this would overload your poor brain. I don't have brain damage and even I struggle to wrap my brain around the pale. lol
I did pass out from reading it!!! I thought I died and then the same incredible voice acting of that limbic system thats the first dialogue in the game came in. I really thought the game restarted so I skipped all the dialogue only to find the screen dim back with Kim dragging Harry back to his car. This game, man. No writer alive is as skilled as the team who wrote this game.
@@CaptainPupu Yep. I think I'd have to say this is my #1 favorite game of all time. The writing and the voice acting and is just perfect and there's soooooo much of it! And it can get REALLY REALLY dark and uncomfortable. The game holds nothing back.
I mean- if you had a friend with retrograde amnesia that completely forgot about climate change, you’d probably be remiss to tell them about the impending end, too
Yeah it's like the pale. We know it's coming, we know it's gonna annihilate modern human civilization, we just ignore it. People seem to react like that to the pale in the game.
What climat change? Activists keep harping about climat change, that is not existan and typical fluctuation of temperature trough humanity history. But never talk about actual mountains and islands of trash spawnd by endless consumerism? Maybe because "climate change" is a tool for elites to put pressure on energy sources of less developed competitors, but actual physical garbage is not issue while drones keep buying useless trash from them?
@andrewdarko115I mean in comparison to anything else in our world? I’d say it’s fine the only other thing you could say is like natural disasters I guess lol or like black holes maybe
If Disco Elysium was an anime, Kim would 1000% be blushing, scratching his cheek with one finger, and looking to the side with a lowered face with a slight frown.
Hopefully it would be an accurate anime seeing as dedicating the song to Kim after the karaoke has the game tell you Kim is entirely incapable of visibly blushing
Honestly, when I’m thinking of Disco Elysium as an anime, all I’m seeing (in terms of approach to adaptation) is _Cowboy Bebop_ for wackier scenes and _Patlabor 2_ for more serious ones, sooo… nah, probably wouldn’t - though Esprit de Corps would still butt into the conversation and the frame.
I found something on the Disco Elysium subreddit that says you have to be at a certain point in Titus's questline, specifically asking about [spoilers]'s location, which triggers Joyce to move to the village.
She moved for me the day after I asked her about the village. She told me a bit about how she had gone out for a night on the town and met a man in the fishing village during her youth, and seemed to regard the place fondly and wistfully. The next day I found a note telling me she had sailed there instead. But I may have also been advancing the main plotline, I can't remember. Was around Day 5 though yeah.
Personally, I just kept in touch with her and advanced with the game normally, and at some point she was aware of what was going on and just moved there after knowing what suspect I should follow.
Its mostly reliant on your char build, this guy's char seems to be a more physique and psyche oriented harry, but hey no health isnt that bad, my first playthrough i died like three times to the dammed chair but hey at least i have the most broken stat on the game: MOTORICS
There's obviously more to it, like each main attribute has like another very important 8 or so sub and how much of that main attribute you have is how much can you upgrade their related skills. And so on, but you can figure those things yourself
Phys and psy build with an emphasis on endurance and volition. Alternatively, they may have gone into the game’s files and hacked the run for max stats to grab and film tough passive checks. Disco is easy to manipulate, but I wouldn’t recommend it on your first play through. Sometimes, it’s better to fail than to succeed.
@@mateusgreenwood1096 I thought fatherless behavior was bad? Not gonna do anything to prevent it? If you're stuck whining about used goods, Joyce actually tells you she used to have a boyfriend in the fishing village who she routinely snuck out to with her boat to "have fun" with. Meanwhile, the gravest sin Lilienne committed was starting a family. Your choice. Also, you say fascist like it's a bad thing.

Isn't the pale just some weird wonder of Revachol the same way the insulidian mantis is?
Revachol didn't deserve Kim.
no one did
Elysium didn't deserve Kim
Yet regardless, Revachol needs him
Not even Harry deserved Kim, if we take into account his past treating his squad , but it was good that him stayed at his side.
No, she does, she needs him.
