St. Helena was the island that Napoleon was put in prison and died there,his remains were sent back to France

I´m new to this channel. As a father of three and a former Navy E-4, who had his share of storms, my first thought was:
"Are they insane? How irresponsible is he to take their toddlers on the ocean and risk their lives!" , but then I reminded myself:
" Shut up, it is none of your business and be glad that this man and his family have the freedom to do that.There is enough red-tape already in the world and that man and his wife are the only authorities for their kids, period. That is at least the way I see it.

It's so NICE to see you guys and that you all made it on the first leg of the journey safe and sound. I was starting to get a bit worried about you and the kids. You arrived at a nice location to take a few days off of the ocean and rest up awhile and enjoy being on land again. Hope to see you again next week. Be safe, and YES child trafficing is now a bigger business in the states than the drug cartel, it doesn't surprise me you were asked about the kids. Keep your eyes on them.
There used to be a British mint that made commemorative coins,don't know if they still do. We were there in 1985,no mooring balls then.
With regards to immigration, child trafficking out of South Africa is a huge issue.

Bizarre seems a wrong choice of word? St. Helena is incredible and so special.
Disagree, from my time studying remote geography on earth, St. Helena seems almost otherworldly in its remoteness. Arriving by personal S/V seems totally bizarre and awesome!

There's nothing inherently negative about the word "bizarre." It's perfectly fitting:
"bi·zarre:
very strange or unusual, especially so as to cause interest or amusement."

What a fabulous place. Thanks ya'll for sharing your journey with us. Their own currency? Reminds me of a place in NY (Ithaca) that too had their own currency. They called it Ithaca Money but I think changed it to Ithaca hour's. I don't guess it's a thing anymore but when it was people would earn this Ithaca money by volunteering in the community rather it be repainting a building that was in need or cleaning the streets or whatever.. The Ithaca money was bankable and accepted in their local shops/stores for whatever and groceries.. I have always thought that it was a cool concept to get people in the community involved while earning Ithaca money. The more hour's you put in the more Ithaca money earned. I wish you had flown your wife and infants ahead of your route. I think you are both very wrong for exposing your family to undue risks. If you had suffered a unnecessary tragedy you never would’ve recovered.

That was not how that fence gate works 😂 there’s a wire on the bottom you put it in then push the top until you can slip the wire over.

Drove up to the top of Tahiti Iti or Tahiti Nui and found dairy farms like Wisconsin !
Im a New Zealander and immigration sounds typically British 😂😂😂, were my father alive his answer to, have you any flu like symptoms etc would have been No, no cough colds sore holes or pimples on the dicky, wasnt the greatest fan of the mother land 😂😂😂. Probably the reason for so many landrovers is alloy doesn't rust

However, its a dream ive had for as lomg as i can remember. Seeing you guys pursuing this lifestyle with 2 small toddlers, gives me inspiration to be able to do it as well. Thank you!

Was temporary duty on the sister island ascension island for the US Air Force. We were there to install communication antennas for NASA. Love the locals that work on ascension island that are from st helena.
They use different pounds in Scotland & N Ireland !!!!
