Hi BB Walker, great stuff, explains pretty well a lot of stuff I couldn't understand before. And here another question: can I use the Zoom as an Audio Interface via USB so I can feed the sound directly into a DAW ? I have Cakewalk, with a Focusrite 2i2 but can you eliminate the Focusrite and use the Zoom as an Interface? I connected the Zoom via USB but the DAW doesn't see it. Do I need to download a driver or something? Thanks for your help.

To be clear, you are not using the looper to record the drum machine, is that correct? You're just mixing the drum machine directly to the speaker (the Marshall). How are you triggering the fills and rhythm change-ups on the drum machine, another pedal? Is the Proel pedal for the Amp or Drum Machine? The sole purpose of having a rhythm effect is that it quantizes (cleans or aligns up the start a stop) the loops and overdub loops to the right beat per minute, in this case 93bpm's, so loop sound on pedal and drum machine stay together in lock step. Am I understanding correctly?

Yes, you are perfectly right. Drums from looper at set to 0 volume like shown in 5:41 - crucial is that BPM is the same, and thanks to that trick loop has perfect length and there will be no "time-dilatation / extending gap" even if you not start drums machine (Yamaha keyboard) perfectly in tempo - the gap won't be expands during long session.
An here is another vid - pretty old where I am showing the drums machine setup - pedals that triggers fill up and fill down:
