जब पूरे इलेक्शन होने में 2 महीने लगते है तो क्या दो दिन ओर नतीज़ों का इंतज़ार नही कर सकते है अगर इतनी तेजी से नतीजे देने की चिंता है तो पूरे देश मे एक दिन में चुनाव करवाये ओर दूसरे दिन नतीजे तब माने इलेक्शन कमीशन की क्षमता। ये बेवकूफ बना रहे है, जब आधी जनता को संदेह है तो उसे दूर करना चाहिए।

Was very disappointed by the unintelligent audience's questions asked by the Lallantop Staff. If this is the general comprehension capability of a newsroom, then it a very sad state of affairs.
Yes, the guy in maroon tshirt countered that in today's date also booth can be captured... he aint understanding that in previous days within short time span (say 1 hour) thousands of ballet papers were stamped and put in the box which would get counted as valid vote against which on evm one can cast only 3 or 4 votes max per minute which would result in less than few hundreds votes in an hour. With EVMs, those who are capturing the booth also have to be savvy (knowledgeable) to cast a valid vote --which normally is not the case i.e. very difficult to find people who can act and threaten like goons and also operate machines like evms and computers.

The kind of questions the journalist asked are so childish. His understanding of the matter is also superficial. For example, he wasn't able to understand the kind of human error possible while counting VVPAT slips manually. Ignorantly, he said if no. of slips and votes on the EVM mismatch then counting should be nullified, try explaining this to a common man and party representative who is on the losing end.
He didn't highlight the money and logistical issues if 50% or 100% VVPAT counting is implemented. He neither highlighted the shortcomings of the ballet system nor presented any convincing argument in favour of it. The tactile feel of paper as an argument is so sub-standard, then asking questions around it reflects 'stupidity' and 'lack of research'.
Guys up your game when you invite guests of such high calibre.

V good discussion vote must be counted
Best policy is that hand over vvpat slip to voter and posted it in box after his satisfaction. When recounting option arises, slips can be counted.
What happens if some people do not post it in the box or mutilate it. During counting the discrepancy will arise between EVM count and VVPAT count and whoever is losing will cry foul.
But for satisfaction you can see the VVPAT slip for 7 seconds when you vote. Uske baad kudh wo drop ho jaati hai box mai. Human interference kyu chahiye isme?
That means you are doubting a hifher than 6sigma process. How unscientific. Have you ever sone election duty I wonder! One more box, which has all the ills of a paper ballot, you end up with more teouble! Logical thinking is essenrial, as also trust. Out of 96cr cotwr 95.99999 cr have no issues. We trust. जब दो महीने में पूरे देश मे चुनाव होते है तब जल्दी नही होती है पर रिजल्ट कुछ घंटों में देने की चिंता है यदि इलेक्शन कमीशन पूरे देश मे एक साथ एक दिन चुनाव करवाये ओर दूसरे दिन रिजल्ट दे तब उसकी क्षमता को माने, अगर लोगो को संदेह है तो vvpt को जरूर गिनना चाहिए चाहे 2 दिन ओर क्यो ना लग जाये जिससे सरकार और इलेक्शन कमीशन की विश्वसनीयता बनी रहेगी।

The VVPAT slips are not for taking out but posting it in a box.

1. The statistical guarantee hinges on the premise of a truly random sample selection. However, there remains a concern regarding the possibility of EC-officials being swayed to draw a selective sample of untampered EVMs.
2. The integrity of the verification process itself raises doubts. The country has recently witnessed the Chandigarh mayoral election fiasco which underscores the potential for foul-play even during purportedly rigorous verification exercises.
I agree that a 100% verification might seem impractical but recent events highlight the urgent need for alternatives. The Election Commission's apparent disregard for malpractices in recent week emphasises the necessity for a more robust and vigilant approach to ensure the integrity of the electoral process.

He considers ECI to be a divine body. If the EVM is a stand alone device, its source code needs to be disclosed to the public without any fear of the device being tampered with. The entire electoral process is for the voters, the main and the only stakeholder in that process, and, therefore, their opinion cannot be ignored by the ECI and the Court. A referendum may be resorted to if there is a doubt about the number of people who have lost faith in the process. Somebody who has certified the integrity of the machine, a scientist instead of a statistician, would have been a better person to be interviewed. The interviewer, too, seems to be unduly circumspect and ill-equipped to handle an issue based on science .

लोकल इलेक्शन में मतगणना के टाइम पर मेरे यहां कई बार रीकाउन्टिंग के बाद रिजल्ट बदल चुके हैं। मतलब गिनने में कई बार गलती हो सकती है।

आप लोग अपना इंटरप्रिटेशन करते है। पर्ची वोटर के हाथ में इसलिए देने की बात नही की जा रही थी कि वोटर उसे बाहर ले जाकर लोगों को दिखाएगा बल्कि इसलिए कि वोटर उस पर्ची को देखकर तुरंत बॉक्स में डाल देगा। तो इससे गोपनीयता कैसे भंग होगी।पहले भी तो मतपत्र वोटर के हाथ में होता था और वोटर स्टाम्प लगाकर बॉक्स में डालता था तब गोपनीयता भंग नहीं होती थी।

अगर वीवीपीएटी से गिनती में करने में लगभग दस दिन लग सकते हैं तो पारदर्शिता के लिए गिनती करानी जनहित व देशहित में आवश्यक है आखिर चुनाव पांच साल में एक बार ही होते हैं साथ ही ध्यान रखना चाहिए देश में लोकसभा चुनावों का समय लगभग दो महीने चलता है क्या दो महीने वोटिग होने में इतना समय दिया जा सकता है तो गिनती के लिए दस दिन लगना क्या उचित नहीं होगा।
भाई साहब काउंटिंग की ड्यूटी आपके किसी परिचित ने किया हो तो पूछना 7 दिन लगातार ड्यूटी करना
काउंटिंग में पेंसिल भी नही ले जा सकते ड्यूटी करने वाले और जब तक काउंटिंग खत्म नहीं होती बाहर नही आ सकते

Counting of VVPT slip should be wherever complaint is lodged and not wherever the EC wants. The VVPT machine can be re designed to segregate the slips symbole wise and push the slips into separately attached boxes. If so many boxes are a complication then two or three boxes of the main contestants should be designed.
