Here's a semi-classical choreography on this masterpiece from Mughal-e-Azam movie ! This song is part of my all-time favourites because of the way it's composed and one of my dreams was to choreograph it.

My god this was beautiful! The choreography encapsulated the lyrics really well. The hand gestures were almost perfect. You guys really have understood to meaning of the song, the dance postures, the hand gestures, everything. Really well done! This is not copied choreography, you guys have done it yourself and it shows!

This is beautifully choreographed but the dancers did not put their 100% efforts. This song is just about the expressions, the emotions and an essence of competition spirit. I agree that it's just your version but tbh you both should've put in more efforts for this and understand what this song speaks and is about get to know the deeper meaning of it, that's what dancers do don't they? They put in emotions just as the song or dhun portrays. Btw good try.
Hi, thank u for your comment 🙏 so I choreographed and performed this song almost 2 years back and this is one of my first dance videos uploaded on TH-cam. Looking back to it yes I feel there is a part missing with the focus on the upper body to be able to see more facial expressions. My vision at that time was not exactly the same as now and its good to be conscious about it and work on new goals. But, I believe that a dancers job is not only to portray exactly the song. Thats more like an imitator job. Yes, originally, qawaali music is not meant for full on kathak choreo. But this is the way I wanted to portray it. I wanted to express through the moves and give a twist to this song. I could have done a classic qawaali seating video where we sing and express all the way but then there would have been no added value to it, and the actresses in the movie mastered it so well that I didnt even dare to do something similar. Btw its great to have such comments thank u for that!
