Prob have to do with post processing. The original colors(very close, as they spoke to many people involved with the movie, like Dilip Kumar himself, alive at the time) can be seen in the original colorized version of the movie. Cheers!

For your information, a lot of films, songs and dialogues used to be written by Muslim artists in those days because Bollywood heavily depended on Urdu bhasha and mostly Muslims were the ones who wrote pure Urdu. You don't have to drag communalism into everything, you know.

Hindi is a complete language. Urdu is a bastard language born in the kothas of Lucknow and Delhi. Early Urdu poetry was written in praise of prostitutes.
Besides remove Indian Hindu concepts from the Bollywood and you will get a Pakistan-like industry that would have serious shortage of ideas and stories. All Muslim producers and actors make movies on Hindu stories with Hindu concepts deeply embedded in them.
