This 1958 Morris Minor Pickup, upgraded with a 1275cc, new canvas, restored.

I took a 1958 Morris Minor 2 door Sedan, that had been rolled, and cut the top of the entire car off to fenders highth, brazed the doors shut, welded a 16 gage rear deck on it, to the back of rear cushions , using a 1 inch conduit for cross bar.
I then lowered dash to front fender hight,10 1/2"s, moving it back 14"s,. Then I cut outer Hood frame to fender hight, and welded 16 gage sheet over it all, making a hood, with small scoop in front. Primed it Friday night. Had to well spider gears. In differential locking it, into a solid rear axle. Installed roll bar, seat belts, on Saturday. Then took it t Gore Hill Airport on Sunday, and raced in Auto C😍ross. Mondays Paper said, "Morris Monster", beats All. Was great little car!!
I drove it 40,000 miles. Was stolen in Nevada.

The original turn signal light was green and situated on the end of the signal stalk. This was carried over to the early Minis. The light was notoriously flimsy and often broke off. Many owners put the replacements somewhere else on the dashboard.

You refer to a few minor things.They made a lot of " Morris Minors". You can start them with a crank handle if you have it.I think that one is a Traveler. Great that it is left-hand drive!!!

Sadly soon all combustion cars and trucks including classics will be banned from public streets in entire EU and Scandinavia :-(
In Germany the Green Peoples Party gave order to shorten fuel supply from 2025
on by reducing all conventional fuel stations to only one state operated central gas station per city or county. Car washs will be forbidden too because they are climate killers, now they want to slow down all the gas station pumps from 20 litre per minute to 2 litre per minute...From 2027 on in the EU certain car spare parts will be banned too....as exhaust systems, turbo chargers and even some engine and gearbox oils...California and New York will do the same from 2027 on.... So no investments should be done in oil burning cars any longer....They even created a new kind of crime here, called emissions and smoke crime. (BABVVEN & TEBBVEN)
