  • Here is the kit I completed yesterday (18th Sept 2020), my 8th kit of the year.
It is the Hasegawa 1:72 scale, D2 00432, which gives options for the sales/demo "International" version, one in RAF service and the French variant.
I chose to build the "International" version which included "shoulder mounted" sidewinders.
It was quite a tight fit in places but with a little filing everything went together well.
The canopy clear parts are thin and clear.
My only mistake was damaging the decal for the port side of the fin.
This is not a paid-for video. (if it was they'd surely want their money back)
Its just a "show & tell" to do with one of my hobbies.

I’m about to build the same kit. I built it in the 90’s, and I’ve been a tad nostalgic lately. it’s still my favorite jet aircraft. Yours looks good! Thanks for sharing.

I'm reading this a year later. I hope your build was satisfying.

A tip for modellers of the Jaguar, posed on the ground. Before shutdown the pilot would lower the flaps, The ground crew to aid servicing, would open the undercarriage doors using a switch under a panel at the front of the port undercarriage bay main door. The Airbrakes would also be open, at shutdown, these were required to be open to allow the micro turbo starter to start and to refuel the aircraft.

Another note The Access ladder had a platform at the top step. This was pieced with a series of holes, and was used whenever climbing on or off the top of the aircraft.
