Can't even blame you for rooting for Marik, cause I did the same lol. He's always been my favorite, and maybe that's because it always felt like dueling was secondary to him. He seemed much more focused on dishing out as much physical or mental pain as possible, before clenching the victory by spamming Monster Reborn/ Ra. He may not be as technical a duelist as Pegasus or Bakura, but Marik was always the scariest to me.
Marik actually mentioned against Mai that he put some of his own cards to fortify Marik's deck, so I could say it is a mix of both. Still makes me wonder where did he get these cards, since they have been on a blimp long before his awakening
God Slime seems to be really expensive everywhere I look :') I actually thought of using Mystic Plasma Zone in place of Poly for my yami marik deck since the artwork sort of looks "shadow realm-y" and it can power up a bunch of his monsters
Hey first of great deck! Second did you guys see they printed out the correct anime almost anime versions of the Silent Swordsman and Silent Magician in the next set based around Yugi? Will you guys add those2 specifically to the Yugi ceremony deck when we get them next year?
Would you guys ever consider posting a Marik deck that uses the Rage of Ra stuff? I would love to see a more focused build of a Marik deck but still trying to hold an "anime level" deck?

Egyptian God Slime was recently reprinted in the rarity collection and should be less costly to get a hold of now. Hope that helps

But apparently no Pot of Greed in Bakura's deck tho. Great Job, keep at it.
Bakura didn’t play Pot of Greed in battle city and he played enough cards to where you don’t need to add it as a filler card.
He specifically said "If they didn't play it, we put it in their deck anyway." Where as they actually didn't put it in the bakura deck profile.
@@rakardoslegend1432 I guess they wanted the bakura deck more authentic to battle city. Bakura did in fact play pot of greed in dawn of the duel.
