This is actually so cool, I've always had a soft spot for the perpetual underdog antagonist. One thing I'll add, I think a more accurate anime Weevil deck would have played a lot more one-ofs rather than doubles or triples of cards. With the way they treated each card and played out duels in the anime, I think everyone mostly played one-ofs unless it's specifically shown otherwise, like Kaibah's Blue-Eyes or that guy who played with fake Exodia pieces.
I just wanted to say the Hercules Beetle isn't immune to spells, Yugi's monster had a spell equipped to increase atk, but the field power bonus canceled out the spells atk boost effect. Duelist Kingdom was weird as hell and that's why it's my favorite 😅
Super cool decklists. I thought about building decks like these myself, would be cool to get a bunch of people together and have a tournament to see who would really take Duelist Kingdom
Huge insect fan and weevil definitely had a huge impact on that as a kid! Still waiting for a real competitive insect deck 😅 hopefully they didn’t abandon beetroopers in general and we get new support this year! Appreciate this video brotha keep it up!
Weevil was able to use the Ultimate Great Moth on Joey during the Battle City. For sure an awesome boss monster! Too bad it wasn't in Duelist Kingdom like you said.

True. I did that in later deck profiles to shorten the videos. My overall objective was not only accuracy but to also have 40 cards in the deck.
