Chris, great video about York. It’s really stirred some emotions and fond memories I have of the place. I used work with the team at the chocolate factory, to help churn out all those Kit Kats! Such a great team there! York should be proud of its confectionery history! Hope the city never loses the factory!

I've missed out, over the last few years, taking the kids in our school to the Jorvik Viking Centre. It would be so enriching as they learn about The Vikings and the impact on England.

I don't want to sound strange but that place looks amazing and me as a black American man would I feel welcome there if I wanted to visit or possibly retire there. My wife and I have been thinking about retiring to someplace in Europe like that, just curious. Thank you
Hey! I plan on doing my masters there. I am African American, but currently living and working in South Korea. Based on all of the videos I have watched, I think you will be okay. May have to stock up on some of your favorite hair products though, or find them online^^

Very beautiful! I've been to London twice but always felt that I must see something else too than the capital. There's something special with these British castles and stone facade houses. All of these scooters should have designated parking zones!
The Shambles used to be a great street full of interesting shops... It's now full of tacky tourist traps shops ruined by young Americans getting too excited about the Harry Potter tat that's on sale But York is a great place to visit

We used to live in York and we loved it there! Having gone to uni at YSJ seeing the Bile Beans brought back memories 😂

Ah that will be the cinematic mode on the iPhone. It creates a simulated depth of field and it looks a bit fake sometimes. Thanks for coming along!

So many amazing restaurants. One of my favourites is Ambiente. It’s Tapas and there are two in York. Delicious!
