0:45 I've said this several times before in these videos, but *don't buy Trines from shops*.
Why? Because you can either:
1) buy a Trine for 5400 coins, or;
2) be patient, wait, and buy a Minotaur's Head, Hand of Glory, and Desert Blade for 1650 coins each, or 3*1650 = 4950 coins total, then combine them into a Trine.
Each time you buy a Trine from a shop you are wasting 450 (i.e. 5400-4950) coins.
P.S.: The same goes for *every* other violet item that can be made from smaller items, i.e. they all cost more than buying the smaller items separately.
I guess it depends on how abundant/scarce the gold you have to spend to combine them is for you at each point in your game. I typically buy the 3 pieces separately at this point because my heroes always need a trine + 1 more of those items ( or 2x all of that) to combine into larger purple items. Gold is not a problem at this point so this makes it more versatile. However, in my earlier game I tried to save gold where ever I could.

Buying a trine means you've basically traded 450 shop coins for 135K gold.
And each time you trade a rare resource (shop coins) for a common resource (gold) you are hurting your team in the long run. That's just math.
The best solution to gold issues in the early game isn't to waste rarer resources (which is why you shouldn't spend emeralds on the roulette). The solution is to pace your gold spending by prioritizing what you need the most.
@@LuisPereira-bn8jq Maybe my perspective is different because I'm a Titans first player for my guild. For me, spending any gold on heroes was wasteful as it took away from titan artifacts.
@@iphixitube I don't think being "Titans first" makes a difference here.
If those trines weren't important enough to divert a mere 135K gold away from titan artifacts, then they could wait.
Liking these shorter videos that highlight the main talking points around opinion, strategy, etc
green and grey item are always easily available. So always better to farm mission which gives multiple orange items. And even among the mission who gives multiple orange item, the more item matches with the hero you are leveling, better you are.
It is great to check if the mission contains more than 1 item you need
I feel you get more XP (per energy) doing the higher cost missions. But I have got to the point where I don't value hero XP - I don't know who next to level up and don't want to commit resources to gearing them up (or even gold to buy their skills).
black and white it is better to farm the cheaper mission for the item. The drop rate definitely matters. cause the drop rate being the same across the board influences your decision to do the mission that costs less energy. for example 8 energy per mission or 10 energy per mission. over 200 energy you can do the 8 energy mission 5 more times which without a doubt, mathematically increase your chances of getting more of that item cause you did the mission more times. there are variables as to why you would want to do a mission that costs more energy like if the mission that costs more energy gives you multiple different items you need right now, then I would say do the one that costs more energy. if the drop rate was higher for higher costs missions then the drop rate would influence you to do more expensive missions. Its linear. So the drop rate definitely matters whether it is the same or different. in cause and effect, the cause is directly related to the effect, they are bound together. And as you mentioned about the lower quality items, you only need red items for a very small amount of hero's right now. And I rarely farm energy for red items. I get a ton from tower and because it takes so long to get a hero to where they need red items, it seems like almost a waste to focus on red items for a smaller amount of hero's than blue and green for a much larger amount of heros'. you need those lower quality items for a much bigger number of hero's. Now if more of your hero's need red items more than blue or green, then sure the higher cost mission would be the right call in that instance. There is really no right or wrong, variables will dictate where you go if you are looking at it at purely a mathematical standpoint.
Could be my imagination but I find that I have better luck raiding for a particular resource if I alternate raiding x10 per different chapters for that specific item.
I find there are certain sweet spots for team level in purple drops in chapter 8
Raid x10 might guarante 1 drop, but i always raid 1x by 10 times and get 2 or 3 manually, or one item every 3-5 single raids
Higher level missions give more exp potions so it is worth keeping in mind if you still need to level up your heroes
just watching this video, reply, i feel that if i am farming for an item, i want to farm a mission where the item is in the ancillary spot instead of the top reward spot.
I focus on one item for one hero and spend my energy to complete it
btw never get any of the violet items that require a recipe and a little blue thing, it costs almost 1k more to do that then to just buy the pieces seperately
YOU KNOW IT'S A DAMM SCAM WHEN THE DROP RATE IS 10% (or less)...
All items actually have a min drop rate of 20%

@@HeroWarsCentral i think that is only true of Mobile. But that is just my guess. I can say (conservatively) the third item definitely has a drop rate at least 3 times higher than that of the first item. I was just farming the feathering recipe. i spent 400 energy on the chapter 13 (fetid spring) mission and got 4. Spent 400 energy on the chapter 15 (endless abyss) mission and got 16. Which confirms what I was saying earlier about farming Apprentice Mantle or Pauldrons (or any grey item for that matter). if you farm them on a level 1 mission they have roughly a 20% drop rate, but if you farm them on a level 9 mission (where they are listed as the third drop item instead of the first) they have a drop rate around 70-80%.
@@bikebudha01 If you have VIP 5 or above this shouldn't happen. It is explained on the game's wiki page (though for some reason not in the game itself) that any time you spend more than 10 times the energy (at once) you are guaranteed at least one of each item drop. I wish I could link it, but you can look up the "benefits of raid" on the fandom wiki page.
@@FablestoneSeries It has happened. Thing is, even "if I get 1 per 10".. what kind of shitty drop rate is that? Usually there are 3 items you might get - we should get AT LEAST 33% DROP RATE. But I get it, they intentionally have a shitty drop rate to incentivize spending real money.... It's super shitty on their part...
Do you always just raid? Why not actually battle to help with your hero leveling? While it is time consuming, doesn’t it help with leveling up your hero’s?
When you raid, you receive hero exp potions in place of hero exp. The hero exp potions and the hero exp are the same, you just have to manually use the hero exp potions on your heroes

@@rdanyom your right, it's not exactly 1:1, it's rounded to fit with an exp potion. But sometimes they give you extras and sometimes less. I got real anal about this and I tracked it for a month or two. It averages out to be ABOUT the same. What's great about this is you can choose where the exp goes. So I can take my main strongest team and then give the exp to my second team I'm trying to build.
I try to farm missions that have more than one thing I need.
Personally I try to hold on to my energy and use it for events and hero's way.
Just a reminder. U know the energy replenishes every second up to a certain number depending upon your VIP level. U don't spend it, the replenish stops once it gets to that number.
Well i am diffirent though, i try to spend all of my energy from the time the server resets then let it replenish (depends on the heroes way quest), get those 60 energy per 3 hrs, by the time my energy is at peak ill use them again, by these youll get 200~300 extra free energy per day, rather than getting them stock and not using the (free replenished energy*).
What about getting stuff from the Tower?
Helps but limited kinds of items
