These documentaries are vital for the spectators to see because the players who are on ground are just like us and that adds the flavor of compassion towards it. Steve Smith was not a part of the Sand paper masterplan. He was just captain who overheard the conspiracy. And there is every possibility that other players must have overheard it or been aware of it.
The fact that he didn't stop its execution is why he was punished. But the fact that he admitted his fault and took responsibility is why i believe he is the best person to lead a team if required in the future.

to me after paine there is only 2 options in the current team, Cummins and Head, Head is the youngest ever captain for South australia and was given the VC role in the National team after only 6 games so he must have some really strong leadership qualities and Cummins is that guy that leads by example, hes the ricky ponting except as a bowler, when the team is down he steps up like ponting did more then anyone else in cricket and he has the same qualities.

I’m Aussie, and I love this documentary. I’ll tell you why: it was the breaking point in our culture that said “this is the last straw” It’s the first time Australians actively acknowledged how disgraceful we had become. I was completely ashamed, and everyone I played cricket with said “I’m never watching the Australian team again, we are a bunch of cheating wankers”. This was the ONLY EVENT that we took a stand of changing and reforming our culture. After the underarm incident... nothing changed, we kept screwing up... nothing changed... but this sandpaper incident was the time we looked at ourselves and said “enough is enough”. This documentary is an example of overcoming that disgraceful culture where we turned a blind eye to the old Aussie arrogance and let stuff slide. We let the world see us redeem ourselves from this huge massive fall from grace so that is why this doco is so important 👍

Try and play mind games with the opposition to gain an edge in the contest, but never do what they did. I am a proud Australian when it comes to cricket, but I would rather lose than do what happened. Respect to all the people out there that gave this team a second chance, & the Indian fans. Who is looking forward to the test series in Australia next year ?. Much love my Indian brothers !.

Mate we most of the Indians love Smith and Warner. There are huge fans of these two stars in India, they were given harsh punishment m happy that they are back and playing like champions especially Smith.

Mate, yes considering how Sachin, Shahid, De plussesis to name a few got away, this was a lil too harsh.
But as you are an Aussie, I really wanna know how do Australians see their sport, and the spirit?
No accusations, just curious to get an insight from an Aussie who lives there 24*7.
The whole world calls put Aussie for being almost pushing the borders of arrogance, brash, sledging.
I mean, just for eg the difference in How A ponting carries himself on and off the field to a Tendulkar or a Lara.
Yes, we do have Kohli like that, but your countries entire teams are considered brash and arrogant, and a lil too tough for healthy spirit.
What do aussies think about it when people say this?
      #justnoheat..

Absolute respect for the passion and the commitment Australia shows on the field while playing cricket sometimes that might take you over the line but still love the way u guys play the game with a never say die attitude and ruthless on the field
I'm totally fine with sledging and banter as long as it doesn't cross the line

    Cricket is not easy...
As JL said its all mental battle ......
Coach suffered intially and slowly set his things intially.
Kohli and co ,could have given chance to Kumble to find his feet....
As Usman Khwaja said, every player is different and JL took time to understand that.....!

Saw this series the other day. Must say that it is one of the best documentaries ever made. Not just for Cricket but overall. There are multiple moments that actually give you that 'tingle' in your spine and also a couple of moments that genuinely make you cry. For someone who has found love for this game very later in his life, this was an absolute gift. Thank you Amazon Prime.

Guys kindly go and watch this show. They have done the recommendable job as a viewer we get to see what happens inside the dressing room and more.
2nd thing that I like most about this show is the bounce-back mentality which oz team has inherited in their culture. You will be amazed to see the thought process, the emotions which are involved when they come out on the ground.
Highly recommended stuff. Good Job Amazon.

And yes harsha I did watch this documentary in two days that about 7 hours.. And its worth a watch.. The return of steve smith is amazing.. When justin Langer says Virat kohli the best player of this era , its mesmerizing.. But i would say Steve Smith return and the double century in Test cricket he will be a good competitive for Virat Kohli & kane williamson in Tests
