  • January 28, 1991 - Selected 10th overall in the 1988 NBA Draft, Willie Anderson was the first piece to arrive on the San Antonio Spurs' rejuvenation train. Anderson earned an All-Rookie Team nod by averaging a team-high 18.6 points per game. The following season, David Robinson, Sean Elliott, Rod Strickland, and Terry Cummings joined the fold, leading to what was, at the time, the greatest single season turnaround in NBA history. Taking on a slightly more reduced role as the team filled in around him, Anderson was a reliable wing scorer through his first three NBA seasons before his career was derailed by injuries.
Against the SuperSonics in an early 1991 matchup, Anderson finished with a season-high 28 points alongside eight assists in leading the Spurs to a 119-107 win.

Interesting watching these highlights knowing the Sonics would trade Dale Ellis only a few games later.
    Great upload
