@7:13 that little pin whiting is a perfect size for a live bait👍 What i do, is use a 6 or 7oz gemini lead with the yellow fixed nose wires cast out as far as possible, then a slider i bought from veals slid down the line towards it. A stop ring is tied into the line about a foot above the lead to stop the slider going right down to the lead. 5ft hooklength with an 8/0 circle hook through the whiting's bottom lip and just let him swim around once he's out there. If dont have anything take him, reel him back in after the session and put him back👍
Don't be wrapping cart in cling film then hoying it in to the sea lads ffs , buy some cheap tea bags cut the top of tbag empty contence re-fill with cart and or coral cart , or use baby squid cut head off empty it out same again re-fill with cart and or cart coral , give ower hoying cling film in to the sea lads . 😉
If filling up a squid mantle with cart, and poke some holes in it to let the juice out👍 Fox armour mesh is a good one to use too, it comes back in on the hook. I use it when prepping the bait at home. Cut into chunks while still frozen, put each bait into a tube of armour mesh and tie it off each end. Then wrap the individual baits in cling film, into a tupperware pot and back in the freezer. The cling film just stops them freezing together into a solid block. Take to the bach in a flask to keep them frozen and put the clingfilm in with my rubbish bag to take home. Elastic each bait onto the side of a 3/0 Varivas BigMouth with a penneled hook pushed through just below the top knot of the tube (i use chinu hooks for my pennel hook), Works a treat👍
