The gods gave you two hands, and you use them both for your weapon. I can respect that.
In reality it's such a wobbly statement that doesn't really stand up under scrutiny.
Just because a 'hold guard' says it, with his physical power and authority, in his deep rustic voice, it doesn't mean it's a slam dunk.
In debating circles, holding up a statement like his would be instantly called fallacious as it is an "appeal to authority" - a logical fallacy.
A statement should stand on its own merit regardless of who it is that says it.
Overall, in my opinion, the Nord hold guards largely deserve the contempt they get from the Altmer as they are thick, rude and extremely bigotted.
Also corrupt as hell lol but that's another story!!

Quick hint: Two handed weapons have a high rate of staggering enemies with power attacks, but these attacks consume stamina, luckily there is a way to overcome this, craft vegetable soups at some kitchen (there is one in Dragonsreach), these soups regenerate stamina for a long period of time, this means infinite power attacks for the duration of the soup.
Yup, a handy trick to know indeed. Also if you choose a Light Armour build you can get the Wind Walker perk which regenerates Stamina 50% faster. Get some gear enchanted with Stamina Regen or a nice Ring of renewal ( quite common) for another 50% regen. It is very easy to keep stamina up 100% of the time for unlimited Bloodskal Blade attacks.
@@ASavageEye you could also use the lady stonr
I can't stand using potion's. I just focus on increasing my stamina to really high levels.

I think I speak for all of your viewers when I say that we really appreciate your content. We can tell you put much hard work into your videos. You have to do the research, play and record, do a voice over, and editing. That can take up to many hours. But thank you so much and don’t let the views bring you down. Luckily with the realize of Skyrim Anniversary Edition you will grow with new viewers because more people are playing the game again. Skyrim is by far my favorite game and your videos help us out a lot. Again… Thank you.
Thanks alot for the comment buddy people like you are why I do it!

4:25 The exp you get per attack is based on the BASE damage of the weapon, so using a higher tier weapon levels you faster. Upgrading at a workbench can actually SLOW down your leveling, because if you do it normally, you will need fewer attacks to kill an enemy, resulting in less exp. Similarly, if you level on Shadowmere, you may have to wait an hour time to time as you get his health low, but if your weapon was not upgraded that would not happen as often.
The Longhammer: Am I a joke to you?
Can I just point out that Bloodskal Blade works when you use Ethereal shout. You can still fire the projectiles and you are immune to damage while the shout is active. Pretty cool.
If you want to go for the most damage possible from a 2 handed weapon without cheats then you need to get a Stalhrim 2 hander ( whichever you like best ) and enchant it with Chaos Damage and Frost Damage. The reason for this is because Stalhrim weapons give a 25% damage buff to frost magic. When Chaos Damage kicks in the Frost part of that also gets the 25% buff. You can do insane amounts of damage with a Stalhrim Frost/Chaos weapon. Also Stalhrim 2 handed weapons have the highest stagger % of all 2 handed weapons, so thats nice too.
Bloodskal is still my go to weapon when doing a 2handed run. Aside from the unlimited weapon charge with its damage and stagger there are a few other benefits. Firstly it is REALLY easy to get and you can get it straight away after leaving Helgen. You also get a nice Ancient Nordic Pickaxe and a very cool Dragonpriest Mask at the same time. As a major bonus you ALSO get your first Black Book with which you can choose the Scholar's Insight perk. This perk makes it so you get 2 perk points reading books instead of just one. Getting this right at the start of your game makes leveling up all your skills so much easier. Most 2 handed build guides out there recommend this weapon.
@DarthFilewalker Bug or no bug its not a theory. It has been proven by several of the top TH-camrs that Stalhrim weapons with Choas and Frost have the highest damage output of any self enchanted weapons. it is just a fact.
Now I do realise with no enchantments on them and using the shout you can achieve massive damage per second using a Dragonbone or Daedric weapons. And you can add poison to them while doing it but thats only good in a one one one with a boss character. In a mob situation I would rather have an enchanted weapon to deal out max damage to all enemies.
I guess it all really come down to your play style. Of course none of this matters because we are all playing Stealth Archers every time anyway :D
@@ASavageEye Exactly. As soon as you have maxed out all trees, you immediately switch back to your trusty bow, because it's just so damn efficient and handy.
I've always thought that they should have had enemy mages who use detect life to track you down, then send their warriors after you.
It would shake up play style a lot more.
@@Sionnach1601 Yeah I dont really like the way mages come right at you sometimes. No mage would ever do that. In saying that there are plenty of mods that change enemy behaviour and I know some of them make mages stay away.
You forgot orcish unique hammer called The longhammer which has 30% more atrack speed and can surpass deadric one in dps. On top of that you can stack elementar fury shout. You can upgrade it at the grindstone and you can also add 2 enchantments on despite its unique perk.
Nah longhammer might be faster but the damage of orcish is between steel and dwarven basically so low that an ebony warhammer does way better dps despite the speed boost
@@BKBK-yo1zz nah, because it's super easy to increase damage with smithing. the enchantment is a valid build 👌
I've watched all your guides and they've helped me in my own builds. Clear, concise and informative. You've got a new sub!
That jump-cut to mowing down Lilith was wild.
The best day of the week just got even better!!!
I found that battle axes with fire enchantment are great on horseback - with the right perks it's a double dot move.
bro thanks for still dedicating your time to this game that we all love ❤️
This is a very complete and comprehensive guide. Good job!
Always a treat to watch these videos!
hope this video finally prevents me from ending up as another sneak archer
To max it out without hurting the horse you can do the alteration glitch to level up then train with the 2 handed master until 90 then get the black book to double skill points from books and get the 100 without actually using a 2 handed weapon
Don't disenchant the Champion's Cudgel!
Stalhrim weapons are sold at the Skaal Village and they have a chance to have the Chaos Enchantment, the same enchantment that is on the Cudgel.
It’s so rare that it’s not even really worth it
At that point, you're basically playing the lottery. 😅
@@henryviiifake8244 Not really, it's a better than average chance. Probably level dependant aswell
Yeah. It’s a unique piece. Just like the steel battle axe of fiery souls, I don’t disenchant it. ( I’ll duplicate it & disenchant the clone ).
After a certain level, there’s a small chance that chaos enchanted weapons will spawn in the world & a higher chance of the enchantment being found on stahlrim weapons sold by the blacksmith in the Skaald village.
Unique weapons. I don’t like disenchanting unique pieces.
@@TH-camcanfuckagoat You're right. People have to ask themselves what are they playing the game for if nothing and no one is considered sacred or has value beyond the immediate petty gain.
I strongly disapprove also of channel holders like this humouring what are TRULY wicked quests like that blasted ebony blade POS. Or the Boethia's sacrifice. A LOT of young children who are HIGHLY impressionable watch these videos and are being conditioned into thinking that yes: we have a very amoral and immoral World, and that yes: it is okay. Let's not forget that the subconscious cannot tell the difference between what's real and what isn't.
Those children become tomorrow's World.
I like your video structure! Hope everyone is enjoying skyrim anniversary edition
Ur guide videos are so good and well thought out ,i hope u gonna get more subs and views cause they are just very well done
You forgot the longhammer, a unique orcish warhammer that is lighter and swings faster. And the Rueful Axe from the Clavicus Vile Daedric quest
The Rueful Axe is the worst 2H weapon in the game tbf.
The longhammer i think is the best two handed
My 2-handed: tickles, out of stamina
Enemies 2-handed: METEOR STRIKE!
I would have talked more about what the perks do and why to take some of them. For example maces and warhammers are generally not as high of DPS as the other 2 because of the perk that penetrates armor. Penetrating armor is not all that helpful against most enemies.
Very few people know this trick... With Great Critical Charge you can string together a series of fast powerful two handed double critical attacks, if you time it right.
How do I do that
This is quite thourough, thank you. Well done video without much of pauses or rambling, hitting all the important points. Except, i was looking for a video that shows me how to swing the two handed weapon as well. Im having trouble aiming, especially against enemies who run around and i seem to be taking more hits compared to what im hitting. If it was included in this video id appriciete that.
Two handed actually increases by base damage per swing, not damage dealt. So using a dragonbone weapon with no perks would be the fastest way to level
Im so glad this series is going strong! 2H is my favorite build after pure mage. Have you grabbed AE yet, GameVibz? There's a metric ton of new content, a lot of it not readily apparent. Cheers!
I got it and I will be covering that stuff soon buddy
@@GameVibzMason looking forward for your next content. i just start playing skyrim few days ago and your videos really helps me alot
Pure Mage is something I'm now getting into.
I've done Warrior and Battlemage, but Pure Mage is proving to be awesome
Easily the best guide I've ever seen BIG UPS TO YOU DUDE 💪😎
You just gained a new subscriber! I love your videos and your smithing guide and two handed will help me greatly! I also love how you show off the different armor sets and weapons the game has to offer. AWESOME content bro! :)🤙🏻😎
This was a really clear and concise detailing of each weapon vs each other, thanks mate now have a like and subscribe!👍
LMFAO! I nearly peed myself laughing at the Shadowmere section. Great vids!
Thanks again for making these videos
Me with the BloodSkaal blade: *Starts Swinging* Then shouts: GETSUGA TENSHO
You can buy weapons with the chaos enchantment, just keep resetting Glover mallory's inventory and buy it so you can not destroy the champions cudgel. Getting scholars insight perk from the black book you also find in the same dungeon you try the bloodskal blade, helps you get 2 points from a skill book, so you can get 10 free levels, the quests at the bards college reward you one or two level ups to all skills. For the ebony blade kill friendlies quest, you can just kill them, then resurrect them with conjuration or the ritual stone to get another free kill, or use dead thrall to get all you need from one companion
Thanks never thought about using dead trawl before I usually use the ritual Stone
Also I found out about that a couple levels later when I came back to Mallory to buy some arrows he had a Nord bow with the enchantment on it
I love this video. I helped me choose to go with two handed since in love long/oversized swords. I have a Argonian named Lo-Cyan who was once a knight in training and get caught up in the imperial ambush and now has to make a new name for himself and he becomes a full fledged two handed welding knight who uses light armor. He then starts trying to help those in need. (Still working on his backstory though)
that courier moment was very funny
nice and down-to-earth video. no "HEY WATSUP GUYS, CHAD HEEEEERE, AND TODAY WE ARE GOING TO LOOK AT THE TOP 69 TWOHANDED WEAPONS, SO LETS GO FOR A RIDE... WHILE... YOU... PLAAAAAAYYYYY... Skryim!
Very in depth guide, super appreciated, loving the content, earned a sub
3:33 yes, of course! I always have 3 dragon souls with me on a new run 😅
been waiting for this
If you can constantly get a swing on an enemy and shout when they make an attack, it works great.
"I am 2 handed weapons guy and THIS....
*Shows great sword* 🗡️
is my weapon"
1:46
Definitely Skyrim in a nutshell 🤣. Encountered a random npc who forced the player to get into a dialogue + Full inventory as always.
Backwards power attack is great if you end up stuck in a corner with enmies. Its better for 2 handed then 1 handed assuming you have the block 100 ultimite shield charge clears people out for sure. Powerbash still good if lots of people in your way and your friend you dont want to risk hitting him or allies and it for sure staggers someone.
Thank you for your awesome content. You are amazing. 🙃☕
came here for convincing myself to choose the sprint jump perk... was convinced lol
Again, im shocked no ones mentioning it, but you dont need to be 95 to cap with books, the books can give you 2 points each if you take the forbidden knowledge of the blackbook found within the the mine in the dragonborn dlc, the same one you find bloodskal blade. Meaning you can train to 90 with a trainer, then cap off to 100 with the 5 books if you wanted to
This is amazing timing. Just this week I decided to start a new permadeath, no-fast-travel, no-OOC-actions RP character, a Nord 2 handed warrior who left home to be a mercenary in Cyrodiil for many years, but his sister sent him a letter that her young daughter was threatened to be sold off as a wife to one of the Imperial town guards. So he came back to his homeland to help his brother in law in the Stormcloaks -- and they get caught by Imperials at the border.
I've been using bits and pieces of your other guide trying to make something like this, and here you are dropping it on me like a sweetroll with a sticky bow and ribbon, all warm and gooey and fresh out of the oven. I won't be using this guide step by step, but there are little factors and facets of it that I will use as tips or shortcuts if needed to get my character up to RP synchronicity. Thank you GameVibz!
Permadeath in Skyrim?
There are a lot of random ways to die, why would such a thing exist?
@@DrDoomsd I do it to myself, and it's not for anyone or anything so the way I do it is, if I die by any type of glitch or crazy unavoidable random event that I wasn't ready for and pressed the wrong button to open my menu before dying, then I'll just reload. However, I play the game in a way where my guy only has one life, and I start out really slow doing odd jobs and learning smithing etc, and don't go out into the wilderness or do quests that I'm not overprepared for.
If I make a conscious choice to fight when I could've run, or do something really dumb that gets me killed, I just quit and start a new character, new backstory, new playstyle etc. Keeps the game fresh for me and I've played enough times to where I've seen what the late game has to offer many times, and find myself enjoying the earlier stages the most.
You know everything, you are awesome
I just finished grinding my two handed and I see this…
Two-handed exp is based of base damage.Basically a dragonbone greatsword with 0 points in barbarian is the best way. Or the longhammer.
I feel like I want to try a legendary, survival 2 handed playthrough as a Nord and see if it can be somehow fun to play. The fight 1v1 with 2H weapon feel so immersive and rewarding when you have to bash to stop the enemy from attacking you and you know that if you do something wrong it can cost your life.
Also you can double the damage by creating potions.Literally damage from the weapon goes more than 800+ damage . That's so insane.Giant killed with 1 heavy and 1 light attack xD
If I remember correctly ebony blade although it appears two handed it uses the one handed tree unless they swapped it.
12:36 name of the spell you using?
Edit: found by myself, thanks!
I love this series.
These videos are great. Can you do videos on the best vampire builds? It would be fun to see something like that. Always had been struggling to play as a vampire
Nightblade is the best, sneak + illusion and anything else you want really.
If you mean the daylight, you can either enchant armour to a total of 100% fortify resto, and with the respite perk you can now always recharge your hp and Stam during the day. Or: vampirism simply does -100% to stay regens in daylight. You can enchant stuff with fortify stam/magic/hp regen to push this back up and still regen in daylight.
nice video bro
I find the Ragged Flagon to be an excellent place to spar. They just keep coming back for more. Use a weapon with high base damage and don't smith it. Perks in the two hand tree do not help either.
You forgot the dawnguard and stalhrim weapons as well as the long hammer which has the fastest swing speed of any 2 handed weapon in the game
No, Ebony Blade is the fastest, it swings as fast as any one handed swords in the game. The Longhammer is 30% faster which compares to general claymores I believe.
The ebony blade only takes me one try and done and in my opinion the ebony blade is the fastest swinging blade of them all
you only need to kill one follower and then use the necro stone or dead thrall spell and kill them again to max the ebony blade
Can anyone tell me how he got the chaos enchant to do 108 damage?
What about Nerveshatter?
I would love to see you do a lets play of the game
You should've addressed stahlrim two-handed weapons with Chaos and additional frost damage.
This was funny af for no reason 4:49
Nazeem having another messy day.😄
Im getting back into Skyrim, but I had a question. Of the 3 different 2 handed weapons, which is the best option?
The ebony blade has the shortest range out of all the two-handed weapons, it has has the range of a one-handed weapon. Also its damage can be improved by equiping fortify one- or two-handed (I don't know check the UESP, it's bugged) and with the alchemy-enchanting loophole its damage can be improved as much as you like.
Always great to have misinfo in a guide.
When during the play through do you think is good to start doing this guide? Straight out of Helgen?
I personally think every grind can be started right after leveling enchanting to 100 first lmao
And he used it a lot of times during the video too
Hi!, will you be doing weapons and armors from the anniversary edition as well?
Will other horses work for doing two handed training like frost from that one Riften quest?
You missed the longhammer man but great content none the less
wronggggg at the start where you hide from the bear(anyone who doesnt kill the bear and sneaks past is weak) before you interact with the bear you hit ralof for 6 hours to get legendary 100 two handed
Don’t forget about the Longhammer, an Orcish war hammer that swings as fast as a dagger with Elemental Fury
Dont weapon skills level from hitting and not from the damage? So hitting something faster would help, so a greatsword would be better i think
Going through my first playtgrough of skyrim (skyrim virgin 😂) can you improve the block on 2H greatsword? I love the swords and bows so doing a light armour 2H/stealth bow build but dont know if block tree is just for shields?
Just for shields
@@blakefenslerjr4858 Wut? Shield Wall, Quick Reflexes, Power Bash, Deadly Bash, and Disarming Bash works on Two Handed my dude.
Perfect timing. I'm starting a two handed vampire berserker after the AE update nuked my modded Skyrim and all savegames.
Not sure if I missed it or if there’s another video on it, how do I craft the armour with the enchantments to boost my damage with 2H weapons ? And also the smithing enchantments
Watch my enchanting video
I try not to end Ymarz. His quit the character when you encounter him post quest.
I always enchant my weapons with paralyze and stamina drain when I want to level a weapon skill
Hey where did u get daedric greatsword u didnt tell us on the vidio bro, how much leven u need to get thant weapon in currently lv 11 bro
they start spawning in chests around lvl 27. get more frequent the higher you lvl up.
Forgot the Longhammer
is it bad that i went for a two handed and heavy armour build even though im a wood elf?
Does this work with the unofficial skyrim patch?
I just buy a horse at the Whiterun stables and torture it till my one/two handed skills reach 100
I don't think the damage makes a difference. I compared silver to deadric and it was the same.
That is one big.....hammer
Any comment on investing into block with a 2hd build?
There is absolutely no need to block a foe if it's dead
Quick reflexes is one of the best perks in the game, only requires 30 block and is procced when blocking with anything. Get it so you can consistently deal with the more annoying enemies.
so how's that anniversary edition treating you so far? the necromancer spells are my favourite for sure.
What is the ebony blade?
Can anyone help me out. I'm trying to figure out if any of these weapons depend on your level or not. I just dont want to get them too soon and then have them out matched later on.
No, all of them has the same base status whenever you pick them, it can increase with: level on two handed, skill points on the skill tree of two handed and with enchantments of fortify two handed.
Ebony Blade is the only one (I guess) that this doesn't apply, but still will be the same damage whatever your level is. It increases only by killing friendly people to you, or...
just one if you ressurect them multiple times using the ritual stone.
I talked to the boy but started Innocence Lost, not The Cure for Madness. Don't know tf going on...
You need to progress threw the dark Brotherhood to get the quest cure for madness
LOL I was confused as well. I smacked an old lady over the head for what???? 😭
Do you use mods and if so can I get a load order list please
I don't think perks makes it progress quicker
This is great and all but for the nonmoral players just go ham on shadownere and you good what's 15 more levels on 2 handed gonna do and if there is a way u could heal him (classified as undead)
Dawn guard adds a spell necromatic healing. It can be found lying in a secluded area across from the bridge where you first encounter Serena.
Meaning it doesn’t matter what side you choose, you can have the spell.
could you please do a mod load order vid please 😊
How to pick up that armor?
Two handed is way more giga Chad than one handed
Why would you throw points in swords, axe and hammer? Seems like a waist
