      That's a very interesting statement you made because here in the USA most people don't even know there are any black people in Brazil at all. Look at every Hollywood movie about Brazil and you won't see many black people or maybe none. Once I was watching the news in the USA on New Years eve and there was an American reporter at a beach in Brazil (Rio) watching people take flowers to llemanja. And he said "Every year people come to honor the Indian goddess llemanja" Indian???? He was clearly lying. Everyone knows that llemanja is from the Yoruba religion (Candomble) of Nigeria. He had to know, but this American reporter still lied. The reality is that all the things that Brazil is famous for (Samba, Capoiera, feijoada, Candomble) have African roots. Brazil imported more Africans than all the other countries combined during the slave trade and that was the foundation that literally built Brazil. All the other immigrants, German, Italian, Japanese, came after that so their influence is obviously not going to be as intense or noticed. And some people (the USA media) are uncomfortable with that fact.

    • @siriemapantanal6894
      @siriemapantanal6894 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@lulittle8824 Brazil did not import anything, sir. Portugal and other countries did. Stop writing BS. And the Africans are here by a historical mistake. And the Germanics have presence in this land since the discovery. They came together with the Portuguese and Brazil's title of possession was first writen in German. Do you know what the yellow colour in the Brazilian and German flags represent? The House of Habsburg. It is about this that we, Brazilians want to talk about and not what the Portuguese, explorers and slavers did. Do not try to associate this country with Africa because you are wasting your time.

      @@siriemapantanal6894 Brazil is the country with the largest Afro-descent population in the world only second to Nigeria. Over 50% of the population is of African descent. That in basic math is referred to as a majority. And I already know what you're going to say. "They're not black." You' will argue that they are mixed, mulato, pardo or whatever but in the rest of the real world that all means black. Sorry but these are facts. Samba is African. That's your national music. Not German polka.. Llemanja is.... African. Fejioda your national dish is African. Capoeira is African. You seem to have some racial issues of resentment against black people because you already know everything I'm saying is true and this upsets you. They never say that South Brazil was entirely colonised by the Germanics, that the German is the scond language spoken in this country since the time of the discovery, that the title deed of Brazil was first writen in German and that the yellow colour in the Brazilian and German flags represents the House of Habsburg. No, they want to talk about those poor slaves that were left here by their explorers.
