- Community Yard Sale Hunting and it's all going towards the Dream Home Challenge! What can I buy to flip for a profit to find my perfect house to fit both us and our reselling business? Will I be able to hit my goal in a reasonable time to raise an additional $30,000 to do towards my down payment?

If it has windows and it's been sitting for awhile it was taking forever probably because of all the updates it was trying to load, i just came back from spending last winter in Texas and i booted up my PC it took like 30mins and 4 restarts before it was done lol.

Know that you can get overwhelmed but you still keep your higher priced items if they are in good condition. Just this old ladies opinion.

Those Holliday villages/sets can be worth a lot.
I made a killing last year on CIB Lemax Spooky Town stuff, someone donated probably 40-50 pieces at the local goodwill ranging from 4.99 to 9.99 each, a few of them sold for well over 400 each.
Loose they do ok, but compete in box is money.

I don’t do free shipping either! I sell a variety of items, I charge a flat rate for under 1lb and calculated on everything else.

I would like it if, when you show the ebay listing pop-ups, you could leave them on the screen for maybe about 3 seconds longer. Some of us like to "study" the details, and they disappear before we can process everything.
Hey Luna, I've experimented with how long to leave comps up for in the past. A lot of it has to do with audience retention in the sense of leaving a still image in the way of the actual sale or thrift I'm looking at.
I do appreciate the feedback and I may try longer lasting comps in the future. I'm glad you are enjoying the videos!

There are lots of ‘popping’ sound effects around 22-24 minutes but no actual prices popping up (which is what usually happens).
Also at 26.42, another pop noise but no sold listings popping up.
I noticed that too. I think he added the sound effect but forgot to add the listing.
Some of my sounds moved when I added in a music track and didn't notice until it was too late. 😅

How much money do you carry when your going to yardsales?
It really varies. It's in the low hundreds usually unless I think something is going to be crazy. You can always go to an atm for more if it's that big of a buy.
