You can have HOF paint patroller and dudes will still drop multiple close shots on you with real player percentage. If they have shot timing on, they’ll make red contests every time.
I always make a 7ft post scorer with just enough 3 ball to be able to hit, somewhere around 75. Post scoring is a first option, 3 ball allows me to draw the other big out of the paint for my team
thats a good strategy for if you play team modes, but sadly the 1v1 meta this year eventually you miss a shot and then the other post scorer with no stats besides blue and red just destroys you and doesnt lose ball.
My 7ft stretch has a 93 block and 93 int def, also 90 mid range and 85 three point, but even having the high def stat, it’s tough to play against 99 post control and standing dunk build
exactly, don't understand how some people define themselves heavily as "insides" when they just end up having 92 close shots rather than an 84, and 90 standing rather than 81 to not have some shooting. I like my build because I can have 81 midrange, 76 3pt, and then, 79 post control, 89 driving dunk, 84 close shot, and 81 standing, and I am not being constrained by clogging spacing to my teammates. To be a GREAT inside center you have to be extremely aware of wherever you are on the court because you can end up just stopping your own squad. It's a bit like asking that the offense should run around you and your screens
@@sehrlangsam98honestly don't get making an inside with no three. Its literally everything nowadays. If you're gonna be that guy then atleast have a middy so you won't clog the paint. Planning on making a Yao ming build but idk. Threes are better than two at the end of the day
@@bonystickmanking1250honestly that’s the dumbest thing ever and it’s actually a waste of time for bigs. In 5v5 modes either have the 3 or don’t. Inside bigs can still be highly effective if you have the right personnel at guard. The problem is 95% of mfs don’t set screens so they’re stuck sitting paint or having to stand on the corner 3 and then cut for the board or to get in position for a miss. Every single play style at center can work. Operate off the strengths and many people don’t. 🤦🏽♂️
@@MDrepresentah passing is literally all I talk about on reddit. I have 85 on that build and 99 on the other center. Get some air instead of trying to give attitudes behind a screen. Jesus christ, these people.
Laker might have to see Posthooking 6’9 build. It is devious in paint and perimeter defense. I even took his build as a template to make a more versatile 2 way post scorer that can get offensive rebounds and dribble too. Silver perimeter defense badges and still can get legendary paint patroller.
I have a 6’10 pf with a bit of everything, I play a lot of threes so sometimes end up at the 2 and can guard pgs on the perimeter and bigs in the post fairly well, 83 3 point so and 92 middy with 89 driving dunk so usually sit in the corner when I get centre matchups and got decent ball handling and speed to attack the rim on shorter players, works really well for me as a new player this year
i made a post scoring 4 for rec and it most definitely has mobility, it takes away the need for a high board stat assuming you have a good big at the 5. It exposes weak 4s and has no trouble keeping up with locks
even then i average 10 boards a game with take and have no trouble going on a 30 ppg streak with an 85 3 ball, 94 close, 90 standing dunk. and the jokic movement package gives you free steals for sum reason
Stretch/ post/ W vid, whenever I run my 7’3 in rec I don’t even ask for the ball most of the time because Ik that I would be forced to pass it because of the defense just like you said. Most of the time i’m trynna set screens or standing on the(low post) block and hit middy close shots so they can’t double team off of me tho. Since I’ve never ran a 7’3 in fives it’s been kinda fun tbh it’s pretty cheese, especially now that I hit starter three, it has 99 close shot. I barely play anymore tho, I realized I wasn’t having fun and was just playing for the grind.
Post Scorers will always be good on 2s especially against these 7ft +, with shooting being super inconsistent this year makes post scorers really really good for 2s but still an iso guard with a shooting 7'1 big man will win against post scorers who arent just close shot cheesing
I really don’t have a problem spacing with my inside big in 5s. With 87 drive dunk if you leave me open it’s a one dribble meter dunk. Then between im and off all screens I never find myself just sitting on the block hoping for the ball.
Great gameplay, but can you show some gameplay for more skilled opponents? Most the possession they aren't even sticking closer to Tanner, he literally gets wide open shots each time. Not once did the post scorers know to just move inside if youre backing away to avoid the dropstep
Hello quick question for people who play stretch bigs, do shorter wingspan like 7’0-7’3 gets you a lot less rebound then 7ft+ post scorers or even 6’7,6’9 poppers?
I don’t play stretch, but I do play as a 7’7 wingspan center. I normally easily out rebound the shorter wingspans since I have a high rebound. But if your good stretch who can knock down 3’s with ease, then stick shorter wingspan. It’ll help the team a lot more in my opinion
I do both with my 7ft 93 close shot 65 driving dunk 81 standing dunk 87 post control 93 middy 85 3pt 75 pass 88 interior D 84 block 94 O board 87 defensive rebound 65 speed 91 strength 77 vert. Used max + 1 for legend set shot specialist and other for Hof post hook. For my +5 cap breaker debating putting all 5 on O Rebound for legend rebound chaser or +2 on O board and +3 on close to unlock both HoF rebound chaser and paint prodigy
Can you still get boards against other bigs with longer wingspan? I’m also making a similar build like yours but I’m worried that if I might get out boarded too easily?
@@mulababy3446 The only slight issue I've noticed is theres a slight delay from when you hit the button and your player actually passing the ball. I think post scorers exposes centers individual defense & Stretch bigs expose team defense.
Yep right on the money u know ball
That’s why postcards are so viable in 1v1 & 2v2, but stretch bigs shine more in 3v3 or 5v5.
Nope post scorer is broken and been like that since 2k17 regardless of how defensive build is you ain’t stopping them.

Post scorers are better on a individual basis. But what even a decent level stretch does for your team can change how the defense plays the game.
