My mate hung out with him a little bit. He had to be in the studio in like an hour so needed to write a rhyme, quick - my man said Skinny gave a little kid a fiver to get him some chicken and rice and peas. Anyway apparently he had this busted fat marker and a piece of cardboard he'd found on the floor and starts writing the rhyme on that. Took the kid about 20 minutes to come back with the food and Skinnyman had written basically a whole song. Also he BODIED Common in the early 2000's AT COMMONS OWN JAM-he invited people out the audience to battle him, not knowing that Skinny was literally one of the best freestyle emcees in the UK, lol. He fuckin killed man ON HIS OWN STAGE! LMAOOOO😂😂😂

Always annoyed me a bit that he never leant on any financial backing cos his msg is as deep as pac and biggies was. 2 poets of the game. He really had something to say, I am just blessed I got to hear it and it became part of me, but I wish more people did.
I love his battle against cobra at jump off haha his style is so breezey he just makes his opponent look ridiculous 🤣 😂

Had this album on CD back when it came out. Honestly, it’s one of the best UK hip hop albums of all time. It’s amazing that skinnyman didn’t get more airplay, he deserves it. Cappo too. Cappo should have blown up. Sad man that incredible talent gets overlooked and shit rappers are on the radio all day!

I'd bet it's to do with a dispute with Low Life records. They (apparently) ripped off a lot of artists on distribution deals and have continued to try and sell/stream records without permission or recompense to artists. For the same reason, Task Force managed to get some of their older material pulled down recently as well (Great Outdoors EP), which Low Life put up on platforms without permission.
