I am nobody to comment on the concert per se. But his rendition of ‘ shadajne paaya’ is masterly. I have heard him sing this difficult composition during concerts in the 80’s. But here he is outstanding. I bow my head before this gandharvan.

Probably this was the 1st concert of jesudas sir in Bengaluru on the stage of city institute.I was 25 years old then and enjoyed the divine classicac performence of Das sir. On next days ,MS amma, MLV amma, Mali sir,BMK sir,RJsis, Alathur bro's, SSI sir, AKC sir, and so many legends each day for about a month during Sri Ramanavami celebrations. We felt then we were in Gandarva lokam.Das sir is really star among them.
Top class concert. A must listen. Very good audio quality enhanced the rich tonal quality of his mesmerizing voice- ethereal!!! Serene Saramathy- moksha mokalada.. Scintillating Thodi.. with his enjoyable humorous jibe at himself of the line" Ethanaiyo kodi janmam eduthu seydhen dushkarmam... "" Surreal shankarabharam... Can trade anything for this superb concert. Masterclass singing by K. J. Yesudas. Enthralling!!
Dassettan's nadam in this concert sounds so celestial and divine, no wonder he is called Gana gandharvan. Most of the renditions are unhurried and there is good variety.
