1:25:38 adv 2015 pyq instead of taking curve's image which is a tedious task we can take y=-5 image through given line as distance is asked so it will be same either side of reflection line, also the image of line is LR to y^2=4x thus dis is directly length of LR i.e 4a=4, parametric+reflection concept was new for me and will be helpful for other ques for sure🔥

Bro that's wrong, the parabola is non-standard you cannot use the standard form equations. The equation you used.. (y-k)^2 = 4a(x-h) is only for vertical or horizontal parabolas.
