Jessie Ware is fantastic! Probably one of the most underrated vocalists in the UK music scene. Her first 3 albums are made up of Sophisti-pop and Soul whilst her most recent 2 opt for a more Disco and groove led sound. I’m so glad you’re covering her cause not many people talk about how great her music is.
So true! She deserves more appreciation and respect. Super talented and so cool and down to earth.
Same with Beverley Knight who is also underrated. I have seen Bev live and seeing her again in November. Bev is absolutely amazing live. I also am a huge Jessie Ware fan and ‘Begin again’ is the song of the last two decades. Jessie releases the best pop music. ‘Remember where you are’ is an all time classic. Jessie and Bev are the UK’s best female vocalists. I would love to see Jessie live but she always plays at sweaty cramped warehouse venues. Hopefully one day she will do a theatre tour with shows with better acoustics.
I also absolutely love Spotlight. I have played begin again about a million times this year and will never get bored of it. The music in begin again is absolutely outstanding.
Fun fact: Jessie Ware went to school with Florence Welch and is featured in Florence's album 'Ceremonials' as backing vocals.
I think her best songs are: Running, Night Light, Sweet Talk, Taking In Water, Champagne Kisses, Spotlight, The Kill, Overtime

Jessie's best song IMO is Remember Where You Are, and her performance of it on the Graham Norton show was spectacular.

Spotlight is definitely a top for me, but as far as live performances go, her cover of Cher's Believe is truly phenomenal. She plays with live vocoder, it's so fun.

I’m in Australia and like you only discovered Jessie about 2 or so years ago, I came across her podcast with her mum called “Table Manners” where they cook for and interview celebrities. That made me look her up and wow I was blown away by her soulful voice. One of my favourites is “Remember where you are”
Also in Australia and her podcast was my intro to Jessie also. Love it. Love her Mum. Tonight is the first time I’ve actually seen and heard her sing. Mind blown.

Jessi is just an AMAZING singer, had the chance to see her live twice and she is so much fun. Soooo underrated. Songs: Say you love me, Selfish Love, Hello Love (from the last album, GREAT song). Hope she gets a lot more recognition now that "Pearls" is the song for the new season of "Just Like that", the 2nd part of Sex and the City. Thanks for reviewing her! I love her.
Hey Georgina, this came up for me as Jessie Ware is on my radar, go check out her youtube channel for her performance a few weeks ago on Graham Norton, she sings Hello Love, its just gorgeous. I must have listened to it about 30 times I love it so much. She reminds me of Lisa Stansfield. That blue eyed soul.

Jesse Ware is amazing! I discovered her around 2021 and have been a fan ever since. Her last album, That! feels Good! along with What's Your Pleasure? are both amazing.

she's been one of my favourites for years. Tough Love, What's Your Pleasure? and the new album are all amazing. I'd recommend you check out Say You Love Me at Glastonbury - one of my favourite performances of hers, with incredible reaction from the audience. I also have to mention Selfish Love, probably my fave song of hers.

I'm more of a fan of Jessie's earlier albums, Devotion, Glass House and Tough Love. Her songs, Selfish Love, Sweetest Song , Say You Love Me and Running are songs probably play more often. Jessie Ware has definitely been one of my favorite vocalist. I guess her more recent work will grow on me. Oh and I can't forget Wildest Moments as one of my favs.

So many incredible songs but I enjoy Wildest Moments, Running, Say You Love Me, Champagne Kisses, Alone, Midnight, Spotlight, Soul Control, Save A Kiss, The Kill, Remember Where You Are, Hot N Heavy, Pale Blue Light, Free Yourself, Pearls, Beautiful People, Freak Me Now and Shake The Bottle.
She also did a duet with Kylie with Kiss of Life.
She also does a podcast called Table Manners with her mother where they invite a celebrity guest and talk about food and entertainment.

Dear Honest vocal couch, to be honest I'm surprised that you didn't knew about Jessie before!!! I think you will love her as much as we (her mega fans) are. I consider her one of the best UK voices ever, Im such a big fan of female singers of that lattitude (Lisa Stansfield, Joss Stone, Sade, Risin Murphy, Adele) but she is something else, well, to me.
You should dig into the covers she sings too, Jealous and Teardrops, both live, are exceptional versions.
