Jessie Ware is fantastic! Probably one of the most underrated vocalists in the UK music scene. Her first 3 albums are made up of Sophisti-pop and Soul whilst her most recent 2 opt for a more Disco and groove led sound. I’m so glad you’re covering her cause not many people talk about how great her music is.
Same with Beverley Knight who is also underrated. I have seen Bev live and seeing her again in November. Bev is absolutely amazing live. I also am a huge Jessie Ware fan and ‘Begin again’ is the song of the last two decades. Jessie releases the best pop music. ‘Remember where you are’ is an all time classic. Jessie and Bev are the UK’s best female vocalists. I would love to see Jessie live but she always plays at sweaty cramped warehouse venues. Hopefully one day she will do a theatre tour with shows with better acoustics.
I also absolutely love Spotlight. I have played begin again about a million times this year and will never get bored of it. The music in begin again is absolutely outstanding.
Fun fact: Jessie Ware went to school with Florence Welch and is featured in Florence's album 'Ceremonials' as backing vocals. I think her best songs are: Running, Night Light, Sweet Talk, Taking In Water, Champagne Kisses, Spotlight, The Kill, Overtime
"Wildest Moments", "Free Yourself", "What's Your Pleasure", "Save A Kiss", "Step Into My Life", "Hot N Heavy", "Remember Where You Are", ... She got so many great songs, especially since she found her groove. She always gets me in a good mood. 😊
My Top: 1. Spotlight 2. Imagine It Was Us (grossly underrated) 3. Midnight 4. What's Your Pleasure? 5. Night Light 6. Wildest Moments 7. Pieces 8. Alone 9. Hot N Heavy 10. Midnight Caller
I’m in Australia and like you only discovered Jessie about 2 or so years ago, I came across her podcast with her mum called “Table Manners” where they cook for and interview celebrities. That made me look her up and wow I was blown away by her soulful voice. One of my favourites is “Remember where you are”
Also in Australia and her podcast was my intro to Jessie also. Love it. Love her Mum. Tonight is the first time I’ve actually seen and heard her sing. Mind blown.
Jessie Ware's 'What's Your Pleasure' Album is the best pop album since Madonna's Confessions album. My favourite songs are 'Soul Control' and 'Save A Kiss'. If Soul Control doesn't get you moving then there is something wrong! 🙌🏼💜
Jessie’s “remember where you are”, “the kill”, “free yourself” “what’s your pleasure “ and “hot n heavy” are some of my faves! She’s amazing. Great reaction! Have you seen Kylie’s performance of Padam Padam at Wembley stadium this weekend? It was even better than the American Idol one! Your hair looks nice. ❤
Spotlight is definitely a top for me, but as far as live performances go, her cover of Cher's Believe is truly phenomenal. She plays with live vocoder, it's so fun.
I requested this, I’m still a little taken aback that I just saw it on my news feed - I’m so chuffed, grinning from ear to ear haha. I’m so glad you like the song and performance, I was totally taken away with it and blown away by it when I saw it… especially that last big note! Thank you so much ❤
Jesse Ware is amazing! I discovered her around 2021 and have been a fan ever since. Her last album, That! feels Good! along with What's Your Pleasure? are both amazing.
I've been a fan ever since I heard 'Wildest Moments' and saw the simple but beautiful video. She also seems a humble, genuine person. Very talented lady!
Jessi is just an AMAZING singer, had the chance to see her live twice and she is so much fun. Soooo underrated. Songs: Say you love me, Selfish Love, Hello Love (from the last album, GREAT song). Hope she gets a lot more recognition now that "Pearls" is the song for the new season of "Just Like that", the 2nd part of Sex and the City. Thanks for reviewing her! I love her.
Hey Georgina, this came up for me as Jessie Ware is on my radar, go check out her youtube channel for her performance a few weeks ago on Graham Norton, she sings Hello Love, its just gorgeous. I must have listened to it about 30 times I love it so much. She reminds me of Lisa Stansfield. That blue eyed soul.
The production and vocals on Jessie’s music are always smooth and dreamy. Save a Kiss, Time After Time, and If Your Never Gonna Move are my top pics. Though the remixes of Free Yourself are proper proper club bangers.
she's been one of my favourites for years. Tough Love, What's Your Pleasure? and the new album are all amazing. I'd recommend you check out Say You Love Me at Glastonbury - one of my favourite performances of hers, with incredible reaction from the audience. I also have to mention Selfish Love, probably my fave song of hers.
I only know one album (What’s your pleasure?). Favourites from that album are: Save a kiss, Remember where you are and The kill. The kill being the one that I like the most.
Jessie Ware is fantastic, she has grown so much. Her first three albums are different to her currently with her recent album That! Feels Good! and What’s Your Pleasure? as both of those are very disco and groove inspired with a touch of soul and funk. So many incredible songs but I enjoy Wildest Moments, Running, Say You Love Me, Champagne Kisses, Alone, Midnight, Spotlight, Soul Control, Save A Kiss, The Kill, Remember Where You Are, Hot N Heavy, Pale Blue Light, Free Yourself, Pearls, Beautiful People, Freak Me Now and Shake The Bottle. She also did a duet with Kylie with Kiss of Life. She also does a podcast called Table Manners with her mother where they invite a celebrity guest and talk about food and entertainment.
Gosh I LOVE her music and she is dynamite live. My fav songs of hers are: from new album (That! Feels Good!, Free Yourself, Pearls, Hello Love, Begin again, Beautiful people, freak me now, Shake the bottle, Lightning, These lips) and from What's your plasure (Remember where you are, Read my lips, Step into my life, In your eyes, Spotlight) :)
Her first release was written by Ed Sheeran ‘ say you love me’. her voice even at the beginning was so soulful but easy listening… deffinately worth a reaction
I'm more of a fan of Jessie's earlier albums, Devotion, Glass House and Tough Love. Her songs, Selfish Love, Sweetest Song , Say You Love Me and Running are songs probably play more often. Jessie Ware has definitely been one of my favorite vocalist. I guess her more recent work will grow on me. Oh and I can't forget Wildest Moments as one of my favs.
We L O V E our Jessie! If you want a very strange throwback to a very strange blip in our lives - check out the video for Remember Where You Are. It is not only an AMAZINGLY beautiful song but the video something else.
Thank you for this video. I was really into Jessie years ago but have drifted away since the latest albums. I may have to have a listen to them now tho. You should give her older stuff a go. Never going to move and adorn remix with Miguel.
Dear Honest vocal couch, to be honest I'm surprised that you didn't knew about Jessie before!!! I think you will love her as much as we (her mega fans) are. I consider her one of the best UK voices ever, Im such a big fan of female singers of that lattitude (Lisa Stansfield, Joss Stone, Sade, Risin Murphy, Adele) but she is something else, well, to me. You should dig into the covers she sings too, Jealous and Teardrops, both live, are exceptional versions. th-cam.com/video/rNlxM09hZIQ/w-d-xo.html th-cam.com/video/cY1FOZvBt8M/w-d-xo.html

So true! She deserves more appreciation and respect. Super talented and so cool and down to earth.

Free Yourself at the Fashion Awards. That is a spot on performance.
I'm much older so this immediately reminded me of Sergio Mendez and Brazil 66. Great Latin rhythm
I love Jessie. Check out her acoustic version of “Midnight” 🥰🎶
Yes, Jessie's singing is on the level of Joss Stone but in a different style. I can't with these underrated UK singers. They are the best!
Love Jessie Ware, her voice, her music, her style.

I requested this, I’m still a little taken aback that I just saw it on my news feed - I’m so chuffed, grinning from ear to ear haha.

She needs to be picked to go to Eurovision, she’s one class act.
That wasn’t a mixed belt. It was an Eb6 in head voice.
More Jessie Ware content please!!!
One of my favourite songs of the year. Disco bossanova sung by a Brit? Who knew that'd be such a winner.
Some of my favorites are Spotlight and Save a Kiss.
Her first release was written by Ed Sheeran ‘ say you love me’.

Reminds me of Manhattan Transfer.
Get into all of her last two albums.
You ought to listen to Lucy Thomas, she’ll beat them all, genre is musical theatre.
Reminds me more of Fifth Dimension than Anita Baker.
Dear Honest vocal couch, to be honest I'm surprised that you didn't knew about Jessie before!!! I think you will love her as much as we (her mega fans) are.
