- Live performance of HOT FOR TEACHER performed by JUMP-America's Van Halen Experience
AVAILABLE ON ALL STREAMING PLATFORMS
After performing sold out shows across multiple different states, JUMP has positioned themselves as one of the top up and coming Van Halen tributes in the nation. Delivering two hours of classic David Lee Roth era Van Halen, the band's lineup is composed of a group of youngsters all born in the mid-late 90’s and early 2000’s.
While their age offers a visual aesthetic true to Van Halen in their prime, their sound also reflects the same shredding Eddie guitar solos, rock solid rhythm section, and the whaling two-tone screams reminiscent of David Lee Roth’s voice. Featuring a variety of hits and deep cuts off of the first 6 albums, JUMP’s live show also includes a selection of skits and one liners portrayed by Van Halen from bootlegs of their live shows between 1978-1984.
Experience an embodiment of the David Lee Roth era of Van Halen and immerse yourself in YOUTH, NOSTALGIA AND ROCK ‘N ROLL.

The vocalist has the ever elusive Roth whistle scream. Who is this guy? Incredible.
He sure does!
In another 10-20 years, all the OGs of the 60s, 70, 80s will be all gone, and we'll only have these cover bands to carry on their respective torches.
He sounded like that in person too. I liked that about DLR so I was impressed. He really did emulate DLR very well.
This is like watching the real Van Halen in 1984. This guy does an amazing 1984 Roth
Maybe Dave will play with them😮
He does better than 84 Roth. His voice isnt quite the same but he actually sings the words, not just quickly blurt them out like DLR does live.
Masterful, who wouldn't book this band?
Top Notch!
Auto correct error
I'll admit it takes some balls to cover van Halen. They were truly one of a kind
Amazing performance these guys are incredible. To walk in and do David Lee with that kind of confidence is incredible also the drummer is a very young man I realize that look out because this guy is going to go very far his drumming ability for his age is astonishing and it will continue to be recognized as he grows stronger as far as the band the band gellin and putting together a magnificent song and making it so realistic hats off my friends You were rocking this shit You rocking it hard keep it up keep it up!!!
The video is live, but the music isn't. Still, AWESOME!!! Can't wait to see you guys live!
It’s so great to hear somebody taking up the torch Eddie was the best and anything we do to keep his musical alive and the band musical live is just the best ever thank you.
You guys rocked Decatur, IL tonight 🤘💚
5/28/23
If anyone gets a chance a must go
Definitely a cool band to check out
Sending positive vibes to all...
These folks come to the small town of lawrenceburg ky and absolutely turned one on! Felt like you were back in time. Keep doing greatness!
I'm seeing some not so favorable comments...really : (
They are as close as you can get!! Amazing band... Love em!!!
They are having fun and sound good
I saw these guys last weekend on Vancouver Island. I was looking forward to this show and they did not disappoint! I will come see them again if they come to the Island again. the lead singer wasn’t crazy about the ferry ride, so here’s hoping Nanaimo Port Theatre was worth it for them. Whole band was awesome. The drummer always had a smile on their face, which was cool. Highly recommend for DLR era VH fans.
Amazing thus band Rocks great job guys
I used to do a DLR. But this is golden. Of all the tributes i have seen You guys are elite.
I’ve never been a “cover band” fella. But I have TOTALLY made the exception with these dudes! Got tickets for my son and I for the Myrtle Beach show and I am so PUMPED!
What did you think?
Thanks guys ..rock an roll. R.I.P. EVH
I'm sure when you're there and intoxicated it's focking awesome BUT through my studio monitors, loud af that kick drum hurts my soul 😂
Fantastic!
AHHH, I saw you guys downtown in Decatur! The friend I went with and I both agree you guys are the best tribute band we’ve ever seen!
I hope you guys tour Canada coast to coast !
Love the stage acrobatics!!!
Best VH tribute band out there
DLR would rarely sing any time on stage, and remembering the words was optional.
These guys do a nice job. Love the noise floor of the old school amplification....
Thank you! Just trying to channel that energy for all the VH fans out there!
Lol...right! Words were optional af 💯
Wow, they are good!!!
Come on man haha, this audio isn't from a live performance. If so you guys have practiced a lot and definitely put the time in, y'all are very tight and together . Good job.
Man you guys sound great!
Got to watch them in Hobart last night and they were amazing. The only thing that was disappointing was eruption it was completely messed up and that's why my son asked to go. I might give them a second chance...
Saw this live in Murfreesboro, hurry up and get your asses back here!!!
We will be back to TN before ya know it!
yeah!!!!
Love these kids!
Awesome yeah, hope they come to NM 🎸🎸🎤👏😎🤘
Gotta laugh at some of the comments here. Seems like most people think you should sound exactly note for note as good as VanHalen. Of course you are trying to mimic one of the greatest rock bands in history which is a pretty tall order. I saw VH in concert 5 times, four of which with Dave and once with Sammy. I love Sammy but that original lineup was well...the original and my favorite iteration of the band. You guys are fantastic! Every member here is super talented in their own right and more than capable of delivering as close of a facsimile to the original VanHalen show that's possible now. Good luck guys.
Looking forward to seeing you guys in Salem, Oregon April 3
Wow. Impressive.
Sooo good !! 🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻
Thanks Barbie!
Yeah great band !! When and where touring ??
🤘😃🤘
Hey Walter!
When Van Halen broke up I was so disappointed, then when we lost both Alex and then Eddie I was heart broken. Thank you for bringing the sounds and energy of the original Van Halen for all of us to experience once again. I hope some day you can play live near Sacramento. Maybe at the Thunder Valley Casino Venue.
Alex is doing just fine. Well except for
Missing Eddie.
You're Not actually a Van Halen fan if you aren't aware enough to know Alex is alive... and weirdly you have him passing away before Eddie even... wtf ??
ha ha ur funny!
Great band! I was gonna say turn off that phaser but read another comment and know what happened. 😂 Anyway, you guys do a great job!
That guys a great gutarest!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Pretty good in my book.
You guys got it down man! Hope to see you in Ohio in the near future 🤘🏻
Imagine giving it you're all and everybody just stands there. I know the crowd is mostly old but man do something
Any actual live videos?
Working on getting one up soon actually!
Fuck yeah!!
Great vocals but I'll be honest, guitarist has some timing issues and not hitting the transitions. He also doesn't need to have that Phaser on so much. Great presentation from the band though, looks like the show aspect of things is dialed in
Thanks! unfortunately, when we had the mix done, the producer put the phase90 plugin over our guitar. Silly enough, as the singer.... I "ok'd" it and finished the video. Totally my fault, now it lives on forever via the internet lol! But thanks for the good feedback!
IMHO the lead guitar solo was on point in Decatur, IL...
Totally rocked it out....
I think he played part of "Eruption" if my memory serves me 🤣 It was incredible
Fantastic job 👏
Although if you listened to eddie live you'd see he's always behind the music and off timing. It's way different than the albums. Eddie and hendrix never played with the actual timing
Yea but your Mom would love it
Lol😅
Phase 90 or not that still doesn't explain the clams.
Triggers are killing this drummer....
indeed and practice lack of!
Everything here is a flam! Ha.
Drummer is frickin solid
sans the kick drums.
Have you recorded hang em high live would love to see that.
Great performance and musical talent. @guitar player. Turn the MXR phase off please..it’s cool for beginning. But after that it’s a wash. IMO.
Thanks for the feedback. Referring to my comment above; unfortunately, when we had the mix done, the producer put the phase90 plugin over our guitar. Silly enough, as the singer.... I "ok'd" it and finished the video. Totally my fault, now it lives on forever via the internet lol! But thanks for the good feedback!
GOT DAVE'S ENERGY
younger Diamond Dave 😎
Ever get to omaha?
If its live, why poor editing / so many wrong cuts? lol but still nice tho.. :)
It's "Wait a second baby" ... not "man" . Kick ass singer , bassist and drummer . Somethings up w the guitar licks . Dudes rushing through the riffs ?
drummers bit sloppy ........but yeah tough song!
Little trivia for you. The first 5 seconds of the drum intro is Eddies Lamborghini idling.
No it's not. It's Gene Krupas "Sing, sing, sing".
Pretty sure neither one of you clowns could do better. Jealous pompous narcissistic much? 😂😂😂😂😂
Michel Anthony never played a fender bass
So?
I hate when the video says live performance yet it's a studio recording.. 😕
It is a live performance with a bunch of live clips as an advertisement video.
You can't be that stupid.
Can you guys do dance the night away
we can!
Hey guys Diamond dave here!
I would love to rent your club man for a show man!
Van Halen wasn’t perfect live either so...
I find these guys to be authentic enough to get the real live experience across .
Whatever your complaints are can be fixed with a just a little Jack Daniels.
You all are brutal, They're not claiming to be Van Halen. WTF Give them a break, Nice job guys
Vocals seem to be down a key, and the audio is out of sync, having said that they are good. This guys screams are very close to DLR I saw Van Halen live 4 times 1981-84 and I saw DLR solo on his Skyscraper Tour.
First, I LOVE Van Halen, and I love any/every VH Tribute Band. So please know that this comes from love...but the drummer needs to listen more carefully to how Alex played the beat for "Hot for Teacher." AVH had a super-solid, steady bit of swing on the beat that this recording lacks. Jump's drummer has got chops, no doubt, but he's almost playing the beat in straight-time....it sounds kinda choppy. Anyway, nothing that can't be fixed. Best wishes to you all, and keep rockin'!
Ya that's a hard drum song for sure
He is 18 years old for christs sake…. He is killing it and will get better as his playing matures. Everybody’s a critic. 😂😂😂
A click track would definitely help him...he's all over the place. Heck, even listening to the bass player would get him most of the way there.
@@siredwardthethird5923 Valid, but so is expecting the practice to take place *before* taking the stage at the gig that people have paid to see.
agreed... its not close... no swing.... i get it that hes young, but if youre getting paid to play this.. IT SHOULD BE CORRECT
The bass player looks like Mike Nesmith from The Monkees, he should start a band.
Bass player checked out during the solo..
I thought this was supposed to be a live vid, not a montage of live clips with a studio recorded mix placed on top... 1:17
😢 so sad
It's obviously them miming a live recording ? I'd like to see actual show video before I judge them
Think alex needs to work on his dotted 8ths. Yikes
Too much phaser sound bro....
Kick drum dont sound right .... Its off beat
Drummer is really sloppy on the double bass beat. Not good.
not live fools.
Drummer and guitarist are off.
Tough song to cover but this one isn’t hitting right. The drummer doesn’t seem to have the chops for this one.
Sorry. Im just not feeling the same vibe.
i get ya bro!
The drummer's bass drum work is painful. It's like he's frantically trying to climb out of whatever pocket there was. Take a breath homie and lay back a little.
Hmm, interesting.
Guitar sounds like it’s under water
Fn terrible
drums are terrible, otherwise it sounds decent
Vocals suck 😂😂😂
I hate pointing this out but the drummer really needs to learn how to play the parts correctly. He looks like he's 12 so maybe that is why he's not doing it right :) I say this as a drummer with all due respect :). Still coming to see you for the 1st time in Ohio next week.
Is it just me or is a kick drum out of sync with the music? It just doesn't seem to flow.
yea a bit sloppy and the breaks are messed up!
