Another great informative video. Hopefully, once I start getting back into the workforce. I'll be able to get the same model I'm seeing a person selling on our local marketplace. Only issue I think is that it may be a bit too big for using on the public transit like a bus.
You would want to call your public transportation number and ask about the size of the doors and walkways on the busses before purchasing just to make sure it will fit.
I really appreciate the detail of Alex's reviews. This is such a nice scooter, it was my top choice. The LX Sport meets all my requirements except for incline rating. With it's 500 watt motor and 120 Amp controller, 6 degrees is disappointing. The slower Golden Companion looks to be the better choice for me.
Do remember that is for a safety rating. I do believe this unit will climb more then that but due to testing this is the standard range for Pride Mobility's scooters.
In the description box on the review you will see a link to the webpage for this unit. On the webpage you will see a tab for specifications under the photos. There you can see all the specs for the units. Just a heads up for future reference. The tires wouldn't be the issue on the width, it would be the overall width for the unit itself. The width of the tires are 3 1/2" and the overall width of the unit is just over 25 1/2". Hope this answers your question.
As in all of our videos, we put a link to the unit that is being reviewed in the description box beneath the video. You can always check there and click the link that takes you to the webpage for the unit which gives you the price, specs and other information about the unit. I will put the link below for your convivence. I really like this one and strongly considering it Question thou is the seat removable to try to pull it in the house?
And does it have a seatbelt?
Yes the seat is removeable so you can pull it in the house. No, it does not come with a seatbelt.
